The agriturismo
Ca' Solare is a rustic 19th-century organic farmhouse set on a gentle hillside with breathtaking views and wonderful sunsets.
The farm gives friendly hospitality in seven apartments of different sizes. Ideal for a stay for the whole family: in the garden you will find a large swimming pool anda ' children's play area with table tennis, foosball, trampoline and various outdoor games.
Ample parking reserved for guests.
The farm covers 6.5 hectares with crops of olive trees, fruit trees and vegetables and a small herd of chickens, rabbits and sheep.
The accommodation
The farmhouse consists of a manor house with 5 apartments and two cottages, in rustic Tuscan style. All accommodations have WiFi, kitchenette and table and chairs in the garden for private use. The cottages have air conditioning.
APARTMENTS
The apartments range in size from 40sqm to 80sqm.
Two apartments have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and large living room with kitchenette.
Two apartments have one bedroom, one bathroom and small living room with kitchenette.
One apartment has two bedrooms, one bathroom, large living room and separate kitchen.
COTTAGES
One cottage has two bedrooms, one bathroom, sitting room with kitchenette and private terrace with stunning views.
The other cottage, Primula, is a studio apartment with internal staircase to access the loft. Possibility of 2 single beds on request (sofa bed).
COMMON SPACES.
The property has a 90sqm lounge on the ground floor, which can be used for events by prior arrangement with the owners.
Thelarge 12m x 6mswimming pool is surrounded by olive trees and has a wonderful view of the surrounding hills. The pool has a depth ranging from 1.20m to 1.55m.
BREAKFAST AND DINNER by reservation some days a week.
The farm offersbreakfast service by reservation all the opening period and service.
Dinner twice a week in high season, June 10 to August 31. Dinner is organized with a set menu prepared with products from the garden and, where not possible, with organic products from the area.
Production and sale of products, such as oil, jams and vegetables.
Activities and surrounding
From the farm, major cities of art and culture such as Pisa, Florence, Lucca, S.Gimignano, Volterra and the famous beaches of the Tyrrhenian Sea are easily accessible, all within an hour's drive.
Cooking and fabric-printing classes, ecoprinting, for adults and families are organized at the farm.
The managers can help guests with booking tastings at organic wineries and truffle hunting activities, a famous product of the area.
Several trekking walks can be initiated from the farm. Hiking maps of the area are provided.
It is possible to rent bicycles, both electric and mountain bikes, with delivery to the farm.
