The agriturismo
Traditional stone buildings, of which the oldest dates back to 1664, on a 110-hectare property with lake and woods, barnyard animals and an Amiata donkey. In 1993, the farm started offering accommodation to complement the organic agriculture.
The accommodation
The renovation was carried out with environmentally friendly materials, photovoltaic and solar panels producing electricity and hot water.
The farm offers, in the main building, 2 spacious and functional apartments with multiple bedrooms, bathroom, living/dining room with kitchenette, and 2 mini apartments in the old barn ideal for small families.
Each apartment has a washing machine, outdoor table and chairs, and comfortable sun loungers. In common use is a swimming pool with solarium, children's games and stone barbecue. Upon arrival, guests will find a welcome basket with organic products of our own production in the apartment.
Activities and surrounding
Easily reachable are Pisa (47 km), Lucca (52 km), Florence (69 km) and Siena (70 km); the sea (locality Cecina - LI) is about km.40 away; while nearby are riding stables and golf courses in Castelfalfi.
In Volterra one can visit the Roman amphitheater of Vallebuona, the Etruscan museum, Piazza dei Priori, the Medici fortress, Renaissance palaces, the Alabatro museum, the Museum of Sacred Art, and Palazzo Viti.
In Peccioli, in addition to a fascinating historic center, visitors can enjoy a museum center consisting of four different exhibition areas run by the Peccioli Per Foundation of considerable cultural interest.
