The agriturismo

A farmhouse surrounded by sprawling woodland and fields, in a hilly spot at 500 metres altitude in the Pomarance countryside.

The farm has centuries of history, and is proven to date back to the 1600s: the original lines were maintained during the renovation process.

The perfect accommodation for those looking to relax among nature, just a short distance from key Tuscan destinations and the sea.

The accommodation

Guests are accommodated in a 2-person room with private access and large garden area at their disposal and in an apartment spread over two floors (80 m2), with large living room, dining area with microwave, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, laundry room, TV. The apartment has period furniture with fine sanitary ware.

Outside there is a 5x12 m pool that is salt-cleaned without the use of chlorine and 11,000 m2 of vegetation in which to spend time in peace, perhaps grilling on the barbecue or taking a walk.

IMPORTANT! ANIMALS: until 31/12/2024 small animals are allowed; starting 01/01/2025 animals will NOT be allowed.

Activities and surrounding

There are a host of hamlets to explore in the immediate vicinity: Micciano, Libbiano, Montecastelli and Radicondoli. During the year, and especially in summer, there are many different festivals, food and wine events and re-enactments.

Montecerboli is 1 km away, overlooking the Valle del Diavolo. A little further on you’ll find Larderello, famous for its museum of geothermal science, which is free to visit all year round. Visitors can also enjoy guided tours of geothermal power plant.

Pomarance is 10 km away, Volterra 30 km, and around 45 minutes by road takes you to the sea and the Tyrrhenian Coast. Siena is an hour away, with Pisa and Florence just a little further.

We take care of: we cook for the guests, we welcome the guests, we take care of the crops.
It was a desire to to meet new and interesting people all the time which led me to run an agriturismo.
