The estate adjacent to the Chiecina valley extends over 45 hectares in a hilly area planted with olive trees, vineyards and surrounded by woods ideal for hunting out the precious white truffle.
The two main 19th century buildings have recently been renovated and are surrounded by a large garden with canopies where guests can eat outside and enjoy the panoramic view over the valley.
The accommodation
The 2 lofts of 160sqm each, Amedeo Modigliani and Giacomo Balla, are distinguished by the open space spaces with finely equipped kitchen, dining table and living room with fireplace, all furnished with fine furniture and works of contemporary art. Each apartment has a double bedroom, two bathrooms and a bedroom with single beds with the possibility of adding a third bed.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo is located between the municipalities of San Miniato, a medieval city known for the Fortress of Frederick II and for white truffles, and Palaia, a pretty village perched on top of a tufa hill.
Its privileged location makes it easy to reach the major cities of art and culture such as Pisa, Florence, Siena, Lucca, San Gimignano, Volterra and the beautiful beaches of the Tyrrhenian sea, all well connected by a network of new, smooth-flowing roads and dual carriageways.
