The agriturismo
This typical Tuscan farmhouse from the end of the eighteenth century stands in the Pisan hills at 110 metres above sea level, overlooking the surrounding valleys and hills. The skilled renovation using original materials has allowed the restoration of the old "Coppaio", the room where the olive oil was once bottled, labelled and stored, and the olive press, as well as the extension of the farmhouse and the wine cellar built into the tuff.
The accommodation
The agriturismo offers guest accommodation in 5 apartments and 3 independent rooms, which can be set up in various configurations to meet guest needs.
A buffet breakfast and dinner on request are served in the spacious lounge, which can also be used for conferences. The restaurant serves delicious traditional cuisine (subject to booking) and guests can also enjoy pizza baked in the wood burning oven: in the summer, once a week, the agriturismo dedicates an evening to the tasting of the now famous “giropizza”, which has seen enormous success over the last 15 years.
Activities and surrounding
Guests have access to the 8x16 m swimming pool (1.5 m deep throughout) with shower facilities, a changing room and 2 wrought iron gazebos. Near the pool you'll also find an outdoor fitness area, part of a signposted health trail.
Guided tours of the agriturismo’s historic premises are available on request. Nearby you’ll also find the Casciana spa centre and many cities of art, all accessible within around 45-55 minutes by car.
