The agriturismo

Just a few minutes from Pistoia and not far from the art cities of Florence, Pisa and Lucca, an 18th-century farmhouse has become a comfortable agritourism surrounded by olive trees and the Tuscan countryside, with a beautiful fireplace, swimming pool and old paths that unravel among the hills.

The family welcomes its guests with passion, sharing with them the stories and memories of the places. At the farmhouse you can buy the farm's products (extra virgin olive oil, seasonal fruits and vegetables) and taste local specialties (honey, wine, cold cuts and cheeses). The restaurant, open by reservation, serves traditional Tuscan dishes.

The accommodation

The 1700s farmhouse has been restored with reclaimed materials and provides apartments (with use of kitchen) and suites in B&B mode. The rooms are spacious, furnished in Tuscan style, maintaining the original structure and furnishings of the farmhouse, with maximum attention to detail, making each corner different from the other. Each apartment has a dedicated outdoor space with table and umbrella for outdoor dining, with the possibility of using the shared barbecue . Shared spaces include the large garden, with magnificent views of the farm and surrounding hills, and the infinity pool (open from May 15 to September 30; on weekends for non-exclusive use by guests staying overnight) with large solarium and whirlpool.

Extra virgin olive oil production.La Romagnana extra virgin olive oil is characterized by a balanced blend with a robust flavor and bitter and spicy aftertaste. Its green color with golden highlights anticipates an intense fruity aroma with light herbaceous notes. It is produced exclusively from the farm's own olive trees, whose varieties are: leccino, frantoio, moraiolo, pendolino. It is shipped throughout Italy and Europe.

The farm is only 10 minutes from the center of Pistoia, only 6 km from the highway exit and 5 km from the train station; it is therefore an excellent starting point for discovering Tuscany: Florence, Pisa and Lucca, the sea, Versilia, and the mountains, with the beauty of Abetone, all less than an hour's drive away.

Beautiful, authentic and very well maintained. Very nice and hard-working hosts! The whole complex very clean and a great pool. Unfortunately very hot during our stay and very warm in the apartment without air conditioning. Otherwise perfect accommodation!
