The agriturismo
Villa Parri is an agriturism of charme and relax, eco-friendly, deep in the Tuscan countryside, coming wih rooms, suites and apartments, with a panoramic infinity pool, terraces and gardens, sauna and jacuzzi (both outdoors). Villa dates back at the mid of 1800, completely refurbished with all the modern comfort. Our strong point is the breakfast made with local products and above all the homemade cakes and desserts. Breakfast takes place in the wonderful frescoed Limonaia (orangerie)or - in summer - in the gardens amongs magnolia and lemon trees. We produce organic olive oil and honey, jams, cream spread.
The accommodation
An historic residence, situated in Tuscany in a quiet and exclusive hillside a few kilometers from Pistoia, a city of art and nature. The Villa was built early in the nineteenth century by Parri, the designer of the first railway line in central Italy (The Porrettana) on behalf of the Grand Duke of Tuscany, a guest together with the Crown Prince of Italy at the inauguration. In 2013 the villa was transformed into a charming Villa Resort. It features eight apartment suites and two deluxe rooms, with a panoramic swimming pool, a relaxation area with a jacuzzi and a wine cellar for tasting, all inside a private park with an exclusive nature trail between Tuscan cypresses, fruit trees and magnolias.
Activities and surrounding
Villa Parri offer a 5-star eco-friendly holiday. With us you can relax in one of our outdoor spaces, take a dip in the pool, take care of yourself using our sauna or jacuzzi. You can explore the olive grove and the woods that stretch behind the Villa or take a walk along the Ombrone river. If you prefer art, you can visit the beautiful city of Pistoia or the always classic Florence (50 min.), Lucca (30 min), Pisa (40 min). If you love the mountains, you can visit Cutigliano and Abetone and go trekking along one of the Apennine trails. If you love the sea, 50 min. by car, is Viareggio, the classic summer destination of the Tuscans.
