An ancient stone villa, elegantly restored, 900 meters away from the center of Montepulciano, offers exclusive stays in apartments, rooms and suits, surrounded by nature, among the olive trees, cypresses and vineyards. The precious garden has over 2,000 rose bushes that frames the precious botanical garden around Ardene.

The swimming pool with its distinctive shape and finish, is naturally integrated into the landscape giving you realxing moments by the Tuscan flavour.

Breakfast is entirely homemade with cakes and pies prepared fresh and a fine selection of honey and jams which are prepared from a lot of years with the sweetes fruit of our plants.

Each apartment has a large whirlpool baths and showers, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchens, air conditioning, satellite TV, wi-fi.
The furnishings in Tuscan style, with solid walnut and chestnut wood from the original pieces restored to art. Each bathroom is handmade by high quality materials, the chandeliers with exclusive design are made by master glassmakers of Murano. In the suites and apartments lies fireplaces with exclusive design, made with stones and centuries-old juniper logs.

In the large nature park furnished with tables and chairs you can use our big barbecue and pizza oven.

Indipendent villa. It's possible booking all the indipendent villa for group untill to 16 people, self catering or whit some services.

The 7 bedroom, 7 bath villa is located in Montepulciano and due to its unexpected, innovative and welcoming accommodation facilities it is one of the most exclusive farmhouses of this area.
It is a country house in ancient stone and its origins date back to the medieval times. Ardene is the ideal location for reaching the old city of Montepulciano in a short time, walking or biking across the green country.
Montepulciano is the town where the poet Poliziano was born and it rises on the top of the hill which is just behind the villa. From the estate the so called “Pearl of the Sixteenth Century” shows to the guests its real and intact Renaissance aspect.
Thanks to its position Ardene is an excellent base for touring also the nearby hill towns of Valdichiana and Val d’Orcia, such as Montalcino, Pienza, Monticchiello, Chiusi, Cortona. Other towns like Siena, San Gimignano, Firenze, Arezzo and Trasimeno Lake, Perugia and Assisi in the green Umbria are easily reachable.
The owners use the products from their local farming (vegetables, honey, poultry, fruit etc) to prepare delicious meals on request.
Distances: The nearest village is Montepulciano at 900 mt Montepulciano (reachable on foot) and the nearest food shop and bus stop are only 600 mt away.
At guests' disposal: The houses where the guests will spend their holiday are absorbed in the green of the typical Tuscan landscape. In the well-kept park you can admire stately secular trees such as the oaks, the holm oaks and the cypresses that sink their roots under a soft carpet of lawn crossed by paths paved with great smooth stones that will accompany you in silent places, panoramic and with thousands of flowers and bushes. Just below the main house there is a barbecue corner with pizza oven equipped with tables and chairs for dining "al fresco".
In the garden just below the houses there is a suggestive rocky swimming pool (6x12 mt - depth 2,5 mt; open from May until the end of September) surrounded by the hilly lawn of the olive trees.
Ardene is absorbed in the most absolute silence, you can contemplate the view of Montepulciano and the valley. The villa also offers air conditioning (in all the bedrooms except Taverna and Bambi - A/C not available in the dining room either). The house is equipped with satellite tv as well as wifi internet connection. There is ample space for parking, up to 8 cars and the 500 meters of the drive are a dirt track in good condition. On request, the owners can provide a baby bed or an extra single bed for total of 17 sleeping spaces.
Extra Services: The following services can be arranged by the owners for an additional fee: Buffet breakfast (grand buffet), lunch and dinner, wine tasting, daily domestic help, change of linen, cooking classes, local products to buy on spot, trekking and guided tours, educational farm, spas, and massages.
 

Ardene offers a wide selection of handmade Tuscan typical food, processed and transformed in our kitchen. Every dish is the result of our crops and our farm’s according to tradition, with particular attention to integrated farming methods, without the use of pesticides and chemical products.

Ardene serves first dishes, fresh handmade pasta, eggs from our hens join our flours, so you can find and taste the unique flavor of our typical pasta, such as PICI, POTATO GNOCCHI, TAGLIATELLE with excellent fresh sauces.

The selection of meats of our production to be tasted with a good glass of Nobile Wine of Montepulciano or Brunello di Montalcino Wine.
