The agriturismo
The agriturismo is located on a hill in the heart of the Chianti region, overlooking the countryside streaked with vineyards.
The accommodation
The watchtowers, the school, the houses and the other buildings in the ancient village have been carefully renovated to create 15 apartments where guests can breathe in the authentic atmosphere of the Chianti region.
Inside the large main house, there are 8 rooms offered on a bed and breakfast basis, located on the first floor and accessed by a flight of stairs.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo is located 4 km from Castellina in Chianti, between Florence (50 km) and Siena (26 km), in an ideal position for reaching major Tuscan towns: San Gimignano (35 km), Volterra (50 km), Montalcino (70 km), Grosseto (100 km) and Pisa (120 km).
The Chianti region hosts many shows, festivals and folklore and cultural events.
The sea is about 100 km away and it is an hour’s drive from the beaches of the Maremma Natural Park, Follonica and Castiglione della Pescaia.
There are facilities for winter sports on Mount Amiata (110 km) and the Abetone (120 km).
