The accommodation
At Casina di Cornia there arethree different apartments, simple and comfortable, a perfect place for those who want to spend their vacations in true relax in theChianti Classico region, in the heart of Tuscan countryside. The apartments are located inside the farm and you will have the chance to take advantage of the availability of the owners, of the wide green space surrounding the farm and of a visit to the winery with wine tasting.
Aia Apartment
Realized in a portion of the old barn, it is an accommodation for two people: a large bedroom and a bathroom with shower overlook a beautiful private terrace overlooking the vineyards of the farm, facing Monte Maggio and Val d'Elsa. An internal staircase leads to the upper floor where there is a fully equipped kitchen, which also has a direct entrance, and a pleasant outdoor area on the old threshing floor.
Apartment Vigna
Realized in the other portion of the old barn, this apartment has a large living room with kitchen on the ground floor and a private terrace in front of it facing the farm vineyards and the Elsa Valley. On the second floor there are two bedrooms, one twin and one double, and the bathroom with a spacious shower.
Terrace Apartment
Terrazza is an apartment on the second floor of the main farmhouse, just above the cellar; it has a large kitchen-living room with access to a magnificent terrace that offers a unique view on the surrounding landscape. It also has a double bedroom and a large bathroom with shower. It has private parking and independent entrance.
The winery is always looking for new techniques to control phytopathologies that are more sustainable and works in the attempt of personalizing the various vineyards and vinify grapes in the most selective and targeted way possible. In the winery are produced Chianti Classico and Chianti Classico Riserva both 100% Sangiovese as well as some IGT wines, from Rosso Toscano to Bianco Mariolo, as well as Rosè, which give the opportunity to try different enological techniques.
The owners live in the estate and will always be available for advices about places to visit, itineraries, restaurants...
