The agriturismo
Small organic farm run by the Guidotti family, very close to the hamlet of Rocca d’Orcia and the Bagno Vignoni spa centre. Particularly well-known for the authentic nature of the environment and the welcome given to guests.
The accommodation
The farm has 25 hectares of agricultural land with 800 olive trees, land for sowing, a small vineyard and fruit trees. An authentic red wine and a tasty extra virgin olive oil are produced and sold in the farm shop.
The agriturismo offers accommodation in an apartment in a small stone farmhouse which is spread over two floors. The ground floor comprises a spacious fully-equipped kitchen/living room, fireplace and bathroom.
On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms, sleeping a total of four, and an additional bathroom.
Activities and surrounding
Castiglione d’Orcia is a quiet medieval village perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking a large part of the Orcia Valley, located halfway between Pienza and Montalcino.
The area features a wide variety of environments: from 200 metres above sea level with the bed of the river Orcia, to over 1000 metres on some hills in the Mount Amiata massif.
It takes just a few minutes by car to reach the two main spa resorts in the Orcia Valley: Bagno Vignoni and Bagni San Filippo.
