The agriturismo
Organic farm 5 km from Siena, covering 32 hectares of hilly land bordering the Chianti region. The farm, dating back to the 13th century, now features a small stable with horses, a cow and other farmyard animals, and also produces wine and oil.
The accommodation
The agriturismo offers accommodation in 6 self-contained apartments: Annarosa, Ortensia, Gaia, Lisa, Pozzo and Mignon, all featuring a fully-equipped kitchen, washing machine, TV, bedrooms, private bathroom and panoramic view. Gaia is equipped for disabled guests.
Guests have access to the swimming pool (18 m x 6 m), the bocce court, the ping pong table, games for children and a large garden featuring fine plants and flowers.
Activities and surrounding
A short distance away, it is possible to visit the Chianti towns with their many magical castles, the Crete Senesi, Volterra, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Colle Val d’Elsa and Abbadia Isola. For those in search of wellbeing, the spa centres in Bagno Vignoni, Rapolano and Saturnia are easily accessible.
Florence(65 km), the sea in Grosseto (75 km), Lake Trasimeno (80 km) and the WWF oasis on Lake Chiusi (60 km) are all within easy reach.
