The agriturismo
The farmhouse, located in the most vocated area for the production of Brunello di Montalcino, is equipped with large rooms with private bathroom , air conditioning and wi-fi and all is surrounded by a large garden in which you can use the barbeque.
One of the strengths is certainly the view over the entire farm, which boasts a wide variety of colors due to the dense vegetation: from the sangiovese vineyards, to the olive trees, to the woods to theancient volcano, now inactive, Monte Amiata.
It is ideal for those who want to relax.
The accommodation
Set among the famous Brunello di Montalcino vineyards, the Luce di vino farmhouse is just 20 km from Bagno Vignoni, about 15 km from Mount Amiata and about 9 km from the center of Montalcino. Surrounded by a large garden, guests have use of the barbeque. The en-suite rooms have air conditioning and Wi-Fi.
On request, it is possible to take guided tours of the winery with tastings of our products, including wines, oil, grappa and spirits.
Activities and surrounding
The farmhouse is located in an area rich in spas.
Just 20 km away is the characteristic village of Bagno Vignoni: thanks to its proximity to the Via Francigena, the thermal waters here were used since Roman times. At the center of the village, in the "Piazza delle sorgenti," a rectangular pool, dating back to the 16th century, contains a hot, steaming spring of thermal water that emerges from the underground water table of volcanic origin. Bagni S. Filippo is 25 km away: also frequented since ancient times, it features white limestone formations, small waterfalls and small hot pools where you can bathe in the middle of a lush forest.
Mount Amiata is 15.7 km away: the ancient volcano, now extinct, with presences of rocks and small lakes of volcanic origin, is an ideal destination for hikers.
