The agriturismo
In scenic nature rich in wildlife (stags, fallow deer, roe deer, wild boars, foxes, badgers, hares, pheasants, porcupines, anteaters, squirrels and more), this agriturismo has been providing guest accommodation for over 30 years: the first in Tuscany, one of the first to open in Italy, and the first online.

The farm produces superior extra virgin olive oil and outstanding wines enjoyed worldwide. Poggio alla Fame is also known for its cuisine, prepared using local produce, and for the warm welcome offered by both the owners and their four-legged friends.
The accommodation
In renovated traditional buildings, with neutral, tasteful decor, the guest apartments offer a wealth of home comforts. You won't find TVs, but there is high quality Wi-Fi internet available in the farm centre 24/7.
You’ll also find a large swimming pool (less than 20 metres).
Activities and surrounding
Facilities include ping pong, table football, a library, bikes for hire, a standard-sized concrete tennis court, archery and a shop selling typical produce.
The agriturismo is just 1 km from the centre of Colle di Val d'Elsa, a town known as one of the world’s biggest producers of fine crystal glass, and for its remarkable historic centre. The centre of San Gimignano is just 5 minutes away, Siena and Volterra 15 minutes, Florence 20 minutes and Pisa 50 minutes. The Autostrada del Palio Motorway junction is just 1.6 km away.
