The agriturismo
Agriturismo San Gallo, is located just 2 km from the town of Montepulciano, within the"Le Bertille" winery. It produces 5 types of wine, including the famous Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, as well as excellent extra virgin olive oil.
It is open year-round and has 6 comfortable apartments. It offers its guests an outdoor swimming pool, the possibility of using an outdoor wood-burning oven and barbecue , tastings of its own products, ping pong and table football, a nature park for working out, mountain bikes, and free wifi both inside and outside the facility.
The accommodation
The old farmhouse, carefully restored respecting the typical materials and architectural elements of the area, offers 6 self-contained apartments sleeping 2 to 3: Roe, Rooster, Hare, Porcupine, Wild Boar, Pheasant.
Capriolo (35 sq m): ground floor apartment for 2 peoplewith the possibility of 1 extra bed. Studio apartment consisting of double bed, sofa bed, dining table and kitchenette, air conditioning. Bathroom with shower and outdoor table in the garden.
Gallo (35 sq m): ground-floor apartment for 2 people. Entrance with kitchenette, double bedroom, bathroom with shower. Equipped with air conditioning, it also has a garden equipped with pergola table and chairs.
Lepre (45 sq m): ground-floor apartment for 2 people with the possibility of 1 extra bed. It presents a living room with kitchenette, sofa, dining table, bedroom, bathroom with shower, outdoor table in the garden. It is equipped with air conditioning.
Porcupine (sqm 35): ground-floor apartment for 2 people plus possibility of 1 extra bed. Studio apartment with kitchenette, sofa, double bed, bathroom with shower, pergola with outdoor table in the garden.
Cinghiale (sqm 60) and Fagiano (sqm 45): first-floor apartments for 2 people. They have a living room with sofa and fireplace, kitchenette, dining table, bedroom with canopy bed, bathroom with shower. They have air conditioning and an outdoor corner in the loggia equipped with tables and chairs.
TheCinghiale apartment has a large living room and a view from all windows. On one side the vineyards and the countryside , on the other the town of Montepulciano and the Church of San Biagio. TheFagiano apartment has a view of the countryside and the village of Monetpulciano and the church of San Biagio.
In addition to being furnished with Tuscan furniture from the 1800s, wrought-iron beds, beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, they are also equipped with all modern conveniences: satellite television, refrigerator, safe, independent heating, hair dryer and wifi network.
The farmhouse, open year-round, offers a large furnished garden where you can relax in total tranquility. The large swimming pool surrounded by olive trees, open from June 1 to September 30, enjoys a splendid view of the town Montepulciano and is equipped with deck chairs, sun beds, and outdoor shower.
Also available to guests is a parking lot for carsinside the property.
Activities and surrounding
Agriturismo San Gallo is located less than 2 km from the center of Montepulciano, on the Vino Nobile road that goes to Pienza.
Some routes can be traveled and on foot or by bicycle, while others can be traveled by car along dirt roads leading to ancient Pievi or medieval towns, such as the road from Montepulciano to Monticchiello. These wildlife-protected areas are populated by pheasants, hares, deer and many other animals.
Near the farmhouse are easily accessible: Montepulciano (1 km), Monticchiello (8 km), Pienza (12 km), San Quirico d'Orcia (18 km), Bagno Vignoni (20 km), Montalcino (30 km) and Siena (60 km).
In addition, there are numerous activities both sporting and cultural that can be done nearby: golf courses, tennis courts and riding stables are just a few kilometers away, as are famous spas, museums and wine and food itineraries.

Very kind and helpful hosts. Property is stunning, it looks like something out of a movie. Facilities are well updated. Wine tour is available in addition to other activites which are highly reccomended.

I have been doing this job for 15 years along with my family.
As well as we welcome the guests, we are responsible for communication, we take care of the crops.
