The agriturismo

An antique tuscan farmhouse built around the end of the 18th century, in the heart of "Sienesian Clays" (Crete Senesi). The ancient farmhouse, today transformed in Agriturismo or holiday farm surrounded from the green and the quiet of country Tuscany in a splendid natural scenery rich of history, art and secular traditions, perfumes and flowers that alternated to the seasons.

The accommodation

We apologize, we will not serve breakfast buffet for the summer 2020.

Daily sanitation of the common areas and the most frequently touched elements.

The cleaners sanitize with gloves and masks.

Hand sanitizing gel at the entrance of the reception.

Mandatory cap and shower before entering the pool, maximum 10 people in the water at a time.

Avoid assembly.

From the old farmhouse (typical Tuscan farmhouse), several apartments of different types for 2 or 4 people have been obtained, furnished with taste, reflecting the rustic Tuscan tradition.

Equipped with all services such as satellite television, fridge, oven, complete with linen, crockery and heating to enjoy the Sienese countryside even in winter.

Possibility of communicating apartments for families


In the farmhouse that was once used as a barn by the farming family, there is a cosy and characteristic room where guests can enjoy local products for breakfast: jam tarts, delicious biscuits and homemade cakes, jams and bread.

Special mention deserves the wine produced by the Gragnoli family, healthy, genuine, inevitable at the table.

In summer, at guests' disposal a panoramic swimming pool, with a view of the landscape and the Crete Senesi.

Activities and surrounding

You can just relax or choose excursion on foot trekking, mountain-bike, swimming.
Near our Tuscany holiday farm horseback riding in beautiful country side excursion on jeep, fishing.

You can visit Siena, Chianti, Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Terme San Filippo, Terme Bagno Vignoni.
Placed in the mean to a great artistic and cultural patrimony, and it is reached with few km Siena is famous for the Palio (2 July and 16 August), feasts, concerts and theater; Murlo, Buonconvento, Pienza, Montalcino (feast of the Thrush in August), St. Giovanni D' Asso (the hypocrite's feast), Val D'Arbia (feast in September), Asciano, Abbey of Monte Oliveto and Sant'Antimo, Thermal baths of Petriolo and from the not distant cities of Florence and San Giminiano.

Here I am with a colleague, Francesco

I have been managing San Lorenzo since 2004 along with my parents.

We take care of: we welcome the guests, we take care of the crops, we rear the animals.

It was a desire to to meet new and interesting people all the time which led me to run an agriturismo.

Our guests especially like the chance to stay in a natural setting.
