The farm Sassi Bianchi has 40 hectares of land and is located in the beautiful landscape of the Chianti hills. It is located in a forest complex, a refuge for many wild animals. With a bit of luck you can come across hares, pheasants, wild boars, roe deer, badgers, coots, ducks, herons, which go to water in the pond company. It is located in the middle of a triangle whose vertices are Volterra, San Gimignano and Colle Val d'Elsa.

Hospitality is offered in 4 completely restored and independent farmhouses of the 16th century, tastefully furnished by the owners with beautiful antique furniture, have all the comforts and heating and equipped kitchens, the bedrooms are all with private bathrooms. It is ideal for family or cultural groups with 20 beds. At guests' disposal, in addition to the equipped garden, where it is pleasant to relax, there is a swimming pool, a tennis court and a bowling alley. From the veranda you have access to the large furnished terrace ideal for enjoying a good meal while admiring the view. Large oaks provide coolness and shade even on the hottest summer days. The house is furnished with a combination of antique and modern Tuscan furniture. Terracotta floors and wooden ceilings keep intact the typical Tuscan architecture. *** ***ACACIA, located near the tennis court, is a special construction, because it was originally a watchtower for the village of Castelvecchio, later transformed into a furnace. The main entrance is on a paved square, equipped with table, chairs, barbecue for outdoor living. The room with fireplace, armchairs, old Tuscan cupboard is a particular environment, presents traces of the original construction. From the living room you can access an ante-bathroom and from this to a complete bathroom with shower. Through an arch you pass to the large kitchen, furnished with antique furniture and combined microwave oven, gas stove with 4 burners, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer. A staircase leads upstairs divided into 3 large double bedrooms, each with bathroom, furnished with antique Tuscan furniture. One of the rooms has a fireplace: this room leads to a staircase that leads to the private bathroom and the second entrance to the house, which opens into a small covered loggia with garden above.*** *** The farmhouse GINESTRA is the old barn and was restored in 2003. The main entrance is on the ground floor, two steps above the garden and opens directly into the dining room. Through an open passage, you will find the kitchen area fully equipped with fridge, freezer, stove (4 burners), dishwasher and microwave. Through an arched door you enter a large bedroom with its own bathroom with shower. The living room has a fireplace and armchairs. From the room you will enjoy a great view of the pool. A staircase will lead you to the two bedrooms with bathroom with shower. Wooden ceilings, terracotta floors and antique furniture. Central heating. Outside there is a terrace furnished with table, chairs and barbecue. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the pool and the surrounding countryside.*** ***GLICINE is an independent studio apartment of 45 square meters, obtained from the renovation of the old oven and barn of which remain the characteristics. It has a wooden ceiling and a bathroom with shower, bidet and toilet. The kitchen corner is equipped with a 4-burner hob and a refrigerator. Antique Tuscan furniture. In the sleeping area there is a comfortable bed. Outside a porch ideal for enjoying a good lunch outdoors, with barbecue, tables and chairs.***

Guests can enjoy relaxing walks along the paths that follow the woods or jogging in the quiet countryside. There is no catering service but nearby there are excellent restaurants. On request it is possible to have a teacher of language, embroidery, cook and maid. From the Agriturismo guests can easily reach the most famous art centres, they can reach San Gimignano with its famous towers, Siena with its magnificent Piazza del Campo 50km away, Florence with Brunelleschi's majestic Dome, Pisa with its amazing Leaning Tower. The golf centre of Castelfalfi is 10 km away. For guests, the owners (two medical doctors, a professor of biological sciences, a veterinarian) offer maps and guides, but also useful tips for discovering treasures of art and nature. The farmhouse has 3 other properties located in the countryside 2.5 kms from San Gimignano among vineyards and olive groves: Casa Pozzo, Casa Focolare, Casa Uliveta from where you can enjoy the best view of the towers of San Gimignano and the surrounding hills. Moreover, if you want to experience the magical atmosphere of the Middle Ages, between squares full of music and quiet evenings in an atmosphere out of time, you can stay in the house Antica Posta which is located in the heart of the medieval town of San Gimignano, with its shops, restaurants and cafes. Antica posta has recently been restored with particular attention to the history of the structure: the Antica Posta was in fact the stable for the horses carrying the mail.
