Agriturismo Sole offers bed & breakfast service and is perfectly integrated into the landscape.

From its position at the top of the hill it offers extraordinarily beautiful views with the colors of nature changing at every hour of the day and in every season of the year.

The farm produces organic extra virgin olive oil. A choice to enhance a typical element of the landscape of the Crete Sensesi, which offer guests other hidden treasures.

Agriturismo Sole is located in the heart of Tuscany, in the municipality of Trequanda, in the Crete Senesi area, 32 kilometers from Siena and a few minutes drive from the 5 towns of Val d'Orcia: Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, Radicofani and San Quirico d'Orcia.

The property is located in a strategic position so much so that from here you can easily and quickly reach other beautiful places in Tuscany, such as Cortona, Pienza, Monticchiello, Asciano, Castelmuzio, Chiusure, Montefollonico, Petroio, San Giovanni d'Asso, etc.

Agriturismo Sole provides guests with 7 rooms, all different from each other and identified with names of animals that can be encountered in the area or near the farmhouse: The Rooster, The Goose, The Cinta Senese, The Maremma Horse, The Wild Boar, The Chianina Cow, The Roe Deer (apartment).

Gallo Room: on the ground floor, it is characterized by its large French window overlooking the farmhouse garden. The room, equipped with Smart TV, mini-bar, water kettle and hair dryer, is furnished with a large wrought-iron double bed. A crib or crib can also be added in this room, which has a private bathroom furnished in minimal country style.

Oca Room: intimate and cozy, this room suitable for people with disabilities is located on the ground floor. Measuring 23 square meters, it has a separable double bed to which a smaller single bed can be added. It also has a mini-bar, water kettle, hair dryer and Smart TV. The bathroom is private. Terracotta floors and exposed beams characterize the style of the room.

Cinta Senese Room: an 18-square-meter treasure chest to offer the most authentic experience of Tuscan hospitality. Located on the ground floor and surrounded by greenery, this room, equipped with private bathroom, mini-bar, water kettle and hairdryer, is distinguished by its intimate elegance and the refinement of the furnishings, perfectly harmonized with the outdoor environment. This accommodation has, in addition, a private outdoor space for having breakfast or enjoying an aperitif.

Room Cinghiale: located on the second floor of the farmhouse, this 23-square-meter room is designed for a couple of guests looking for typical Tuscan hospitality. The terracotta tiles, exposed beams, period furniture, decorations in the private bathroom, and wrought-iron four-poster double bed by artisan Bigiotti harmonize with the outdoor environment and its iridescent colors. It also has a mini-bar, water kettle and hair dryer. A crib can be added upon request.

Chianina Room: a room on the second floor with an area of 22 square meters. It has a large, antique double bed to which a smaller crib can be added. Private bathroom and breathtaking views of the surrounding hills are the characteristics of this room with its typical Tuscan style and mood. It also has a mini-bar, water kettle and hair dryer.

Cavallo Maremmano Room: a comfortable 41-square-meter room with a typical Tuscan flavor, on the second floor of the farmhouse. The room has a four-poster double bed and two single beds (which can be joined to make a double) in wrought iron with light lines, but there is room to add another crib for a child. The private bathroom features elegant finishes with a large travertine shower. It also has a mini-bar, water kettle and hair dryer.

Caprioli Apartment: measuring 74 square meters arranged on two floors, kitchen with large amenities and double-door refrigerator, private bathroom with whirlpool and toilet on the ground floor, terracotta floors and ceiling with exposed beams. The bright living room, equipped with Smart TV, is graced with a fireplace for warmth or to contemplate on cold days. The sleeping area sleeps 4 and offers the possibility of adding a crib for a child. The small terrace, in addition to providing a beautiful view of the countryside, is the perfect space for aperitifs.

Gastronomy, oil and wine

Agriturismo Sole offers a wide range of good food experiences. Around the cultivation revolve the olive harvest, trips to the olive press and tastings of home-produced extra virgin olive oil.

Tied to the truffle are the experiences of searching and tasting the precious hypogean mushroom. The truffle is often the protagonist of gourmet snacks and appetizers organized by Maria and Santiago during harvest time.

As a tribute to Santiago's Argentine origins,asado is one of the most beloved and appreciated culinary experiences among those offered to guests of the farmhouse, on par with picnics in the shade of the olive trees, when the season invites outdoor dining with typical local specialties.

Festivals

The Val d'Orcia offers a busy calendar of festivals, the best known and most popular of which are: the Sagra dell'Olio third weekend in October in Trequanda; the Mostra Mercato del tartufo bianco in Asciano on the second and third weekends in November; and the Festa del Carciofo in Chiusure on the last weekend in April. Goblets of Stars in Montepulciano on August 10.

Bicycle

At Agriturismo Sole it is possible to rent a bicycle and set off on a tour of the area. Routes may vary in length and difficulty, but they all have one thing in common: scenic roads.

Horse

Agriturismo Sole organizes exploratory rides on horseback, which provide a relaxing and unforgettable experience, on trails that can be up to 20 kilometers long. Some rides can be done on the ancient transhumance roads, routes that connected the Maremma to the Apennines.

Trekking

Agriturismo Sole's strategic location a few steps from the official route of the Via Francigena, makes the facility an ideal starting or arrival point for trekking.

Vespa

A popular way for foreign guests, as well as Italians, to visit the Val d'Orcia and Crete Senesi area by Scooter.

Hot air balloon

At Agriturismo Sole it is possible to book and organize hot air balloon flights over the Val D'Orcia and the Crete Senesi. A truly extraordinary experience as the perspective from which you can admire one of the most enchanting territories of Italy.

Yoga and Ayurvedic massages

Agriturismo Sole organizes yoga and ayurvedic massages sessions with professionals among the olive trees of the farmhouse by reservation and for a fee.

Tuscany is rich in spas. In the vicinity of the farmhouse you can find places of great beauty, capable of giving in addition to the well-being resulting from contact with water the beauty of the natural and historical surroundings.

The nearest spa is in Rapolano, just a 15-minute drive from Agriturismo Sole.
Not to be missed, then, Bagno Vignoni small hamlet of San Quirico. The medieval village developed around the ancient pool, already exploited in Roman times, located in the town square.
