The agriturismo
A few hundred meters from the characteristic village of Solomeo, in the magnificent setting of the Perugian hills and surrounded by the Umbrian countryside, the farm offers an authentic and elegant experience in a quiet and welcoming place, equipped with every comfort: spa, restaurant, apartments and rooms with hotel service and breakfast served.
The accommodation
The accommodation is the result of a restructuring of a group of farmhouses belonging to an original nucleus of the thirteenth century. The thick walls surround 9 different accommodations, divided into two types: 4 apartments and 5 rooms with hotel treatment.
All accommodations are tastefully furnished with fine finishes and original furniture, and equipped with all amenities: Wi-Fi, air conditioning, TV, telephone, hairdryer, kettle, minibar and herbal teas. The apartments are equipped with kitchenette, living area, one or two bedrooms with bathroom (depending on the type) and private garden with table Deruta and BBQ. The rooms with bathroom and breakfast included are furnished in Art Nouveau style and are cleaned and refitted daily.
Among the services, the panoramic swimming pool and the internal restaurant, open every day with tastings of typical products and local wines. Finally, the spa "Orsa Maggiore" is designed to allow private relaxation without being disturbed by others: access is in fact exclusive to the couple who request it, who can enjoy Jacuzzi, turkish bath, sauna, emotional shower, massage area and relaxation with Ayurvedic herbal teas.
Activities and surrounding
The elegant village of Solomeo is just a few hundred metres from the resort, where magnificent events, festivals and plays take place to fill the calendar of this unusual village. Umbria is the region of the small medieval villages, animated by festivals and fairs.
Lake Trasimeno is about ten kilometers away: with the mountain bikes made available to guests, you can turn around it, starting from the farm and along a ring that surrounds the circumference of the lake.
Alternatively, you can discover food and wine itineraries, with visits to wineries and oil mills and tastings of wines and extra virgin olive oils. At 5 km there is the Golf Club of Perugia.
