The agriturismo
Umbria: spacious and elegant apartments and independent holiday homes ( 2 cottges and a villa) with swimming pools in recently restored historic farmhouses. In large estate (organic olive oil production), on the hills surrounding Lake Trasimeno. Immersed in nature and surrounded by woods and olive groves, they offer very scenic and picturesque views of the surrounding countryside, the valley and the hills.
The apartments, spacious and comfortable, are equipped with air conditioning, wireless wifi, satellite television with DVD player and a fully-equipped kitchen. Laundry room with washing machine at your disposal.
The Fontanelle farmhouse has a large and elegant common room, very suitable for groups, for parties, seminars, weddings.
We can accommodate up to 60 guests in total.
The accommodation
Three 18th century farmhouses, recently restored and divided into apartments and independent houses, with swimming pool, air conditioning, wifi internet. Swimming pool opening: normally from 1 June to mid-September approx. Each apartment is fully equipped and equipped with a complete kitchen. Characteristic furnishings, spacious and elegant apartments. Common room with fireplace to spend evenings together or for a small wedding, family gathering, celebration, seminar. Excellent starting point for visiting characteristic villages and cities of art in Umbria and Tuscany: Panicale, Cittą della Pieve, Perugia, Assisi, the villages, the islands and the beaches of Lake Trasimeno, Chiusi, Cortona, Montepulciano. Our company produces organic olive oil and is located in the hills, immersed in the green of ancient olive trees and oak woods. Each farmhouse has its own panoramic swimming pool with terraces and barbecue. Some apartments have a terrace or private garden, equipped for outdoor dining.
Activities and surrounding
From I Casali di Colle San Paolo you can visit many characteristic villages and beautiful cities of art, both in Umbria and in Tuscany: Assisi, Perugia, Panicale, the villages, beaches and islands of Lake Trasimeno, and also Cittą della Pieve, Chiusi, Montepulciano and Cortona, just to name a few.
We can organize a cooking class with dinner on the farm; a truffle hunt at our neighbor's estate; book a visit to the Perugina chocolate factory or an artistic laboratory in the Glass Museum of Piegaro, we can accompany you along the paths of our estate and in the neighboring ones. We are available to book restaurants and visits to wineries.
Other recommended activities (especially for children): visit to the panoramic castle of Castiglione del Lago that overlooks Lake Trasimeno; visit to a nature reserve for the protection of birds (Lake Trasimeno) and to the Etruscan undergrounds and Etruscan Museum of Chiusi. Nearby there are also a water park with slides and the "La Cittą della Domenica" play park, that also has a small zoo and a reptilarium.
At the time of booking we will send you our suggestions to visit the area, with our favorite restaurants, activities and places to visit.
We can accommodate weddings and parties, having a nice common room (for about 50 people seated) and several very scenic terraces and gardens.
In the area, especially in the summer, there are various festivals and musical and cultural events, including the Umbria Jazz Festival (in July, Perugia), the Trasimeno Blues Festival (late July, Lake Trasimeno area), several floral displays including that of Cittą della Pieve (late June), Il Palio dei Terzieri (mid / late August, Cittą della Pieve), as well as many local fairs offering very good and typical dishes, music and dance every night.
