Activities and surrounding

The region is a point of reference for tourism in Umbria, with Spoleto hosting the Due Mondi and Vini nel Mondo festivals, events of national importance, as well as offering trekking fans a host of routes through woodland and the surrounding mountains.

Assisi, Todi, Perugia, Spello and Bevagna are all accessible in under an hour, along with the Marmore Falls, Norcia and the beautiful Nerina Valley, where visitors can enjoy rafting on the Nera River.

Rome is just 1.5 hours away by train.
