thank you for your review.
We are happy you appreciated il Bastione, the Nobiliare panoramic bedroom, the panoramic pool and our ospitality.
We are replying to your comment becuase we don't undestand your criticism for the dinner.
The dinner has six courses, the food is very high quality, with a very convenient price (28,50 euro for guest, water and our wines included). The most of the food is from our farm and always fresh. You realised it but maybe you didn't realised we write every day the dinner menu and you can choose the food you want.
If you want only antipasto and sweet cake there aren't problem for us (it's more easy also for us).
Who want a short menu can tell us his needs, but you didn't tell nothing about this.
Not all the customers have your same think and we are sure of it after many years of hard work.
We can't control the food waste in the dining room because this depends to the sensibility of everyone, but most of the time the dishes served turn back without leftovers.
For breakfast is the same. You eated for breakfast sweet cakes, ham, salami, cheese, toasted bread with marmelades, eggs, cappuccini, coffee, juices, etc. This was a big breakfast but this was your choise.
At last we believe that 20 minutes for every course is a good time for eating a typical food, in a special family atmosphere, in a historical dining room 900 years old without rush.
The food isn't already prepared but just cooked before serving. We hope to clarified our dinner organization.
