This beautiful 16th-century stone house is in the Umbrian hills and has a beautiful view of Lake Trasimeno. It is an ideal location for a relaxing break in the middle of nature and in a farm of 40 ha; at the same time it’s the ideal place to discover the cultural heritage of Umbria and Tuscany.

Set at an altitude of 450 metres, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding nature including olive groves and woods populated by many animals. The hotel is decorated in an elegant, 19th-century style. The Relais Il Cantico della Natura was refurbished using recycled materials, according to the hotel’s environmentally-friendly philosophy.

The rooms, the junior suite and the suite are furnished with attention to details with furniture of 800^Th; they have the name of months and they offer a wide range of services : double system of heating and cooling, lcd tv, mini-bar, safe,  phon, wireless service and connection by cable for free, kettle with the and infusion selection, one bottle of high quality grappa,  incense and perfumers for create the relaxing atmosphere,  toiletries at olives oil flavor.  

Different services to enrich your stay : Relax in the intimate wellness centre featuring a Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and small fitness centre. An  elegant restaurant with indoor room or outdoor in summer where you can eat Umbrian traditional dishes.  All dishes are created using the finest natural and organic ingredients. Swimming pool with beautiful view of the lake and 3 playground for children. Wide chance for sport : trekking, mountain bike, horses and sport in the Trasimeno lake. You can even take part in cookery classes to learn how to create these dishes yourself and have wine tasting.

The health of our guests and our staff is a priority for us. We have therefore adapted our offer and created a context that can guarantee safety, privacy and relaxation for a holiday that is carefree but also responsible, thanks to the collaboration with our guests.

We have adopted the required safety standards by defining a specific internal manual, which is constantly updated in relation to the evolution of the standards and the needs expressed by our guests:

• hygiene rules for the staff of all sectors and at all times of service (reception, cleaning, breakfast, catering)

• Environmentally specific sanitization procedures

• provision of the protections and protective materials to our guests

• guarantee of social distancing in all environments (from the common rooms to the swimming pool)

• rationalization of work processes and use of space

• management of breakfast served

• agreement with a subject specialized in 'health care for any possible need of our guests

The location has by its nature some elements to guarantee the health of our guests:

• Ecoresort for almost 20 years: we make the protection and health of the environment our main value

• We are immersed in a luxuriant and uncontaminated nature, inside an organic farm of 25 hectares surrounded by olive groves, woods and typical fauna. We are equipped with large spaces. Inside our property and in the immediate vicinity you can fully enjoy the outdoor life and do different types of sports

• The small size and the conformation of our structure, divided into several separate buildings, where most of the accommodation is located on the ground floor with an independent entrance, allows a large part of the accommodation to have separation and to be able to enjoy both an internal and a dedicated outdoor space.

• Although surrounded by nature we are fortunate to be only 15 minutes from the most important hospital complex in Umbria, immediately reachable in case of need.
   

Our services can be used in a personalized way according to the needs of the individual guest, directly in his accommodation or in the common areas, always in absolute compliance with safety regulations and social distancing:

• We offer a food that combines taste and typicality of the territory with a strong attention to organic and health, to the special needs of our guests (vegetarianism and veganism, intolerances ...).

• Breakfast can be served directly in your room or in the dedicated room with extreme flexibility in terms of timetables and products.

• Lunches and dinners can be served in the accommodation in several common outdoor areas (patio, panoramic swimming pool) that allow us to ensure separation and distance in case of good weather. In the internal space of our restaurant we do 2 shifts at different times to strictly respect the distances and guarantee the service

• The spa can only be used exclusively, as well as massages and other wellness treatments, which can be enjoyed either in the spa or directly in the accommodation.

• In the swimming pool, parasols and deckchairs are kept at a safe distance

At guests' disposal 12 rooms and 2 suites. The rooms (also connectable to each other where necessary) are furnished with original furniture of the late '800 early '900 in arte povera. Among the suites there is the Family Suite with one room for parents and one for children furnished with furniture designed especially for children.

They are equipped with modern facilities and comforts: underfloor heating system, cots and extra beds for children, baby bath on request, kettle with a selection of tea and herbal teas, grappa, sweets and candies available for guests, fireplace or antique stove in some rooms, direct internet connection and television in all rooms, air conditioning and fan, internal telephone, minibar and safe.

Each room has its own bathroom, some with the use of bathtub and shower and others with shower only. Two rooms are designed for the disabled. Four of the twelve rooms have a direct view of the lake.

The company has some common areas: 3 outdoor play areas for children (one for children up to 3 years old, one for children from 3 years old and another for older children equipped with soccer field, table tennis, foosball table) large swimming pool (135 sqm), restaurant and relaxation room (where you can also taste and buy typical products), meeting room dedicated to meetings, training sessions or cooking workshops.

The restaurant is based on typical Umbrian dishes with natural and organic products of the company. There is a sweet snack for children. Free meal for children up to 10 years old (the menu is free if the parents also eat in the restaurant).

The organic farm produces extra virgin olive oil and fruit preserves that can be tasted and purchased.
