The agriturismo

Nestled in an estate measuring about 80 hectares, resting upon the rolling hills of Umbria, right on the border with Tuscany, this agriturismo welcomes its guests for a vacation in total relax and fun out in the open air, in complete contact with pristine nature.

The accommodation

The Felcino offers different types of apartments: the largest is found on the ground floor, while on the first floor there are two adjacent apartments which, if needed, can become one single apartment to host more guests.

An apartment on the ground floor that is easily accessible, has a bath equipped for the physically challenged. Each apartment has heating, private services, kitchen unit, TV, patio with table and chairs for reading and dining out in the open; a few also have a fireplace and all are furnished with the typical style and taste of the Umbria and Tuscany countryside.

Moreover, at the disposal of guests there is a restaurant, which gives preference to the typical products of Umbria like cold meats, cheese, and homemade pasta: red meat from Chianina cattle raised on site, savored in carpaccio, steaks, filets, and the famous fiorentina; vegetables and aromatic herbs grown on site. Homemade desserts, precious white truffles, and extra virgin olive oil round off those flavors and scents typical of food from Umbria and Tuscany.

The restaurant also offers an excellent wine list from local producers. During pleasant weather, eating outside will allow guests to enjoy good food in contact with nature. The restaurant is open every day, both for lunch and dinner, except on Mondays. Also open to the general public.

The agriturismo also provides a large swimming pool, open from late May to early October. There’s also a playground for children inside the park.

Activities and surrounding

At the agriturismo you’ll find a horseback riding school and stables, which offers lessons for every level: courses for teachers, beginners, children, cartography, learning about horses, equestrian tourism. Moreover, at the agriturismo, guests may ride through the woods or in the lovely park or go trekking on horse.  

In less than 20 minutes you may reach interesting historical centers in Umbria and Tuscany: Orvieto, San Casciano dei bagni, Cetona, Città della Pieve, Montepulciano. The towns of nearby Val D'Orcia are also interesting, while for total relax vacations you may try the baths of Chianciano, S. Albino, Bagno Vignoni. Our guests may also enjoy discounts for the Terme di S. Casciano and the Terme sensoriali di Chianciano spas. 

If instead you are a food lover, wine tastings at the Ravazzi in Palazzone cellar are organized.
