The agriturismo

The agritourism is located in Città della Pieve, among the hills of Trasimeno, a stone's throw from the Tuscany of Val D'Orcia, immersed in the greenery of the Monte Pausillo Natural Park.

Agriturismo Malagronda is situated on a hill 350 m above sea level, surrounded only by woods and olive groves and is reached by 2.5 km of unpaved road.

The farmhouse has comfortable and spacious vacation apartments, renovated to keep intact their characteristics of typical country houses of Umbria and Tuscany, with all modern comforts, such as washing machine, dishwasher, TV, air conditioning, WiFi.

The accommodation

The two main buildings house 7 apartments of different sizes with separate entrances, private outdoor space or terrace (with table, chairs, deck chairs).

All have air conditioning, heating, safe, TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, some antique furniture, bathrooms with shower, washing machine and hair dryer, equipped kitchens (dishes, refrigerator, electric oven, dishwasher, various small appliances). For all guests there is a swimming pool overlooking the vallatta, and for the little ones there are slide, swing, ping pong,

- Quercia (max 5 guests): Apartment with living room, equipped kitchen and fireplace, one double bedroom, one small bedroom with two single beds and two bathrooms with shower.

- Cipresso (max 5 opsiti): Consists of a living room with a double and a single sofa bed, equipped kitchen, double bedroom, bathroom with shower, storage room and fireplace.

- Leccio (max 4 guests): The apartment consists of a living room with kitchen, fireplace, double sofa bed and double bedroom with bathroom and shower.

- Olivo (max 7 guests): Living room with kitchen and fireplace, double sofa bed, one double bedroom, one twin or double bedroom and two bathrooms with shower.

- Pino (max 5 guests): Living room with kitchen and double sofa bed, bathroom with shower, one double bedroom and one twin or double bedroom.

- Sughera (max 7 guests): First floor: living room with kitchen, double and single sofa bed, bathroom with shower. Lower floor: two double bedrooms with private bathroom and shower.

- Ginestra (max 4 guests): 1 double bed and 2 single beds, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator with freezer, bathroom with shower, outdoor courtyard with table andchairs.

Activities and surrounding

Nearby are woods, riding stables, water and adventure parks, anature oasis ideal for bird watching on the lake, and Lake Trasimeno with its islands reachable by ferry or boat.

There are numerous restaurants in the area serving Umbrian-Tuscan gastronomic specialties accompanied by typical wines, including one 1.5 km away.

On request, the staff organizes visits to local wineries and walks through the estate's olive grove with oil tastings. There is also a collection of antique machines on site to see.
