The agriturismo
Santa Chiara is an old farmhouse among the green hills between Umbria and Tuscany. It is situated in a lovely position among peaceful hills and cultivated fields, at the foot of Città della Pieve, an old medieval town built around the VII - VIII century a.d. at the top of a hill that dominates the Valdichiana and the Lake Trasimeno.
The farmhouse, restored to its ancient aspect, was inhabited by a family of Umbria farmers whose main occupation was cultivating their land, picking up its hard-earned fruits.
Città della Pieve offers to the tourists the unmistakable charm of it old town centre where the various styles (from neoclassic to gothic) are perfectly mixed with the prevailing medieval style. In summer you can choose from a wide range of folkloristic, gastronomic and handicraft festivals. .
