The agriturismo
Ancient country home located near the Via Francigena Sansepolcro–Gubbio. Surrounded by 80 hectares of land, our residence is devoted to vineyards, olive groves, meadows, chestnut trees, and veggie patch. Barnyard animals are raised with our own food and kept in spacious areas.
The accommodation
From a skillful renovation of the country home by master brick layers and artisans with ancient and valuable materials, we have restored flats and rooms with wonderful wooden beams, ancient handmade tiles, stone walls and artisan hand painted furniture, for a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The spacious rooms on the ground floor are used as a restaurant with typical local products, like homemade pasta or locally raised meats, sweets and wine.
The in-ground rooms, from a former winery, are welcoming spaces for larger groups or meetings.
The large and well-tended park offers an area for relaxation in good weather or a meeting spot where you may grill food in the evening.
Activities and surrounding
Surrounded by a land rich in trails for mountain bikes and trekking, we are 30 km away from Gubbio and its duchy palaces, 50 km from Perugia, 60 km from Assisi and its basilica.
Our agriturismo organizes motorcycle groups for excursions with guides into the forests of Tuscany, Umbria and the Marches (from beginners to experts).
In little time, you may reach the medieval hamlets of Anghiari and Monterchi with frescoes by Piero della Francesca, while in Città di Castello in the fall you can attend the truffle fair.
Sports lovers may fish, horse ride, play tennis and skeet shoot.
