Agriturismo Fattoria Walden is located in Umbria, the green heart of Italy, in a pleasant and harmonious place, surrounded by woods, olive trees and pastures.

Ideal place for a stay of relaxation but at the same time fun. You can experience country life with us or you can take the time to enjoy the tranquility and rhythms of nature.

For families, groups and couples who want to spend time together in a serene and familiar environment.

Guests are offered 3 spacious apartments for couples, families or groups. Each apartment has private outdoor spaces furnished with table and chairs.

The restaurant offers simple and genuine cuisine using products from our own production and from local companies. Our menus are fixed and we offer children menus suitable for them.

The swimming pool with slightly salty chlorine-free water is equipped with a transparent telescopic cover, which allows the bathing season to be extended in the mid-seasons, with the possibility of raising the water temperature a little with a heating system

Large green areas, playgrounds , and the surrounding forest become places of play, fun, and relaxation for young and old alike.

There is a vegetable garden and orchard whose seasonal produce is offered free of charge to guests.

The sauna is located in a cave in the forest and is heated by wood fire heat, providing a very special experience. Several shells dating back to the Pliocene, 3-6 million years ago, can still be seen on the vault of the cave.

Therestaurant room is equipped for various needs in addition to tasting, recreational and cultural activities are possible: there is a piano, a video projector with a large screen, 50 square meters of tatami.

At Walden you can walk various trails in the woods recognizable with a map, visit the farm animals (dogs, cats, donkeys, pigs, chickens, geese and pigeons) who are always happy to receive attention or something to eat.

The swimming pool provides an area for relaxation and enjoyment, centrally located between the apartments and provided with natural shade from the trees. In mid-seasons, the telescopic structure allows it to be used as a deck as well.

A sauna carved out of a cave in the woods is usable for our guests seeking a relaxing experience.

Various play areas are available such as a soccer area, table tennis, swings, ropes, archery and a sandbox for the little ones.

At our restaurant "Walden's Kitchen" you can enjoy quality dishes prepared with our farm products. It is also possible to book a cooking class for all ages in Italian, German and English.

In addition to enjoying life on the farm, our guests can explore the beauty of central Italy, with its picturesque villages, quaint nature, and participate in the cultural, folk, musical and culinary events that enliven this wonderful region.

The agriturismo is a good starting point for visiting cities of art such as Orvieto, Todi, Perugia, Assisi and Siena.

Other interesting destinations are: Lake Bolsena (the largest volcanic lake in Europe), the Marmore Falls, Civita Di Bagnoregio called "the dying city," the park of the Monsters of Bomarzo, the scarzuola a unique architectural garden, the thermal baths of S.
