In Belluno Pittanzella locality is located "Antico Fienile" a farmhouse with barn and stables located on top of a hill with wonderful views of the Val Belluna and the Dolomites, have been restored and converted into comfortable and refined accommodation
The company, as well as dealing with haymaking and forestry work, breeds horses and donkeys and produces fodder, firewood, honey, vegetables, beans, potatoes and jams ...
On request we can organize horseback rides or activities. We can also accommodate guests who arrive with their own horses.
Thefamily vegetable garden is available to guests.
Rooms 1, 2 and 3 can also be rented all together with kitchen and living room as apartment type. Call for availability and price.
The accommodation
The old barn, located on the top of a small hill about 7 km from La Vena d'Oro and 4 km from Belluno, has been renovated and converted into 4 rooms with fine ensuite bathrooms: it consists of 3 double bedrooms (all with ensuite bathrooms), living room and large balcony accessible through two large windows. A fourth double bedroom with bathroom may be available upon request.
From the old barn there is a splendid view of the Dolomites, Nevegal and the whole Valbelluna, and a barbecue is available.
A tennis court is available.
Activities and surrounding
Nevegal, at 1,800 m, can be reached by car, on foot, by bicycle, or on horseback, and offers breathtaking views of the Veneto, the Venice lagoon, and the entire Dolomites. The Cicogna stream is a must-see destination for bathing and hiking. Spring offers a unique spectacle: the meadows of Valmorel are dressed in blooming daffodils. A short distance from the farm is the Lake to Lake bike path and the Munich-Venice route.
