The agriturismo
Situated between the Medieval towns of Este, Monselice and Arquà Petrarca, the farm offers accomodation in rooms, apartments , camping, a swimming pool, a restaurant and the sale of local products, set amongst the green of the Euganean hills of the Veneto region.
The accommodation
The farm is the result of the renovation of an old country house, which has yielded four spacious rooms that can sleep 2-4 people, a bathroom, heating and air conditioning.
It is set in a small park that includes a play area, shaded porch, swimming pool, bicycle rental and a camping area for guests who prefer outdoor tourism.
Restaurant service based on our own products features typical country recipes served with the excellent wines of the Euganean hills.
Activities and surrounding
Besides the natural beauty, cultural tourism packages offer significant opportunities: medieval city like Arquà Petrarca, Villa Barbarigo, castle Catajo, the Air Museum, the National Museum of Este … You wander along the cycle paths on flat, uphill through the most ‘attractive in our area; you can practice any kind of sports or relax at the famous spa Euganee.
Walled towns
Some paths in Montagnana, Monselice and Este, the city are strikingly medievals inside the city walls.
Monselice
has been the strategic position for the defense of Padova, first of all by the Romans, then the Longobards, the Franks, the Estensis, and finally the Republic of Venice.
Este
Thousand year old Este is famous for its perfectly preserved walls and its Gothic buildings from the Scaliger age, as well as the Santa Tecla Cathedral which hides an altar piece by Giambattista Tiepolo. Artists such as Shelley, Byron and Debussy stayed here as it was and still is considered a cultural centre.
Montagnana
The medieval city walls of Montagnana include 24 majestic hexagonal towers, each 20 m high. The St Zeno Castle is at the Padova gate, and is a must for any kind of tourist. Furthermore, Montagnana is famous for its raw ham!
Important cities of artistic interest are also within easy reach: Venice is 50 km away, Padua 30 km,Verona 90 km ., Vicenza 60 km. The nearby Monselice train station allows easy connections.
