Agriturismo Barchessa

The Barchessa farmhouse is located at the foot of the Euganean Hills in the historic center of Este, in a quiet area in a park of 2,000 square meters, bordering the medieval castle.

On the first floor you are welcomed by 4 apartments for 2 or 4 people with kitchen, accessorized and equipped with every comfort and a large common room also suitable for groups.

On the ground floor you can relax among the small tables in the porch or in the shade among the trees in the park

The agritourism is part of the 17th-century complex known as Vigna Contarena degli scrigni and was precisely intended like many other Venetian villas for rustic annex (Barchessa) as stables , storage and warehousing.

In the structure, recently restored by a careful intervention to maintain and enhance its historical features but without sacrificing comfort there are, on the first floor, four apartments furnished with original antique furniture for two to four people and a large cozy room, with library, where you can also gather in groups

The apartments with kitchen, accessorized and equipped with every comfort, are 35 up to 60 square meters and equipped with WI-FI air conditioning and TV SAT

On the ground floor in the building and in the park there are dedicated areas to relax in the shade of the trees on comfortable benches or lounge chairs

The property is part of the Gagliardo farm that cultivates with the method of integrated agriculture arable crops .There are also PEFC certified poplar groves with sustainable forest management.

Graziano and his family are available to chat and point out walks, places to drink or eat well, and other things to do . .

Este 's barycentric location allows you to visit several points of interest to be reached on foot by bicycle or in short drives.

On foot you can visit the town full of historical corners , the archaeological museum or the castle gardens and the center with its large pedestrian area full of places for a pastry breakfast, an aperitif, a dinner or if you feel like an hour's walk you can go up to Calaone through the Prince's path and admire the landscape. If you want flat routes, you can admire the countryside through the various embankment summits present.

By bicycle you can also only partly ride theEuganean Hills bicycle ring (about 60 km) or you can arrive always on bicycle paths to the walled cities of Montagnana Monselice or Padua and return by train if you are tired ...

By car in less than half an hour you can visit nature trails in the Euganean Hills Park or historical places such as the medieval village of Arquà Petrarca, Praglia Abbey, Valsanzibio and the FAI Villa Villa of the Bishops or one or more days of relaxation and wellness at the spas of Abano and Montegrotto
