The agriturismo
The farmhouse Il Bosco offers spacious rooms with bed and breakfast, for a holiday among nature, relaxation and sport, in the quiet of the Veneto countryside at the gates of Rovigo.It is possible to go horse riding and golfing , or experience an introduction to these sports.
We organise educational paths, summer centres, play activities, green weeks with children of different ages and single days on Saturdays for younger children.
You can take walks among elms, willows, poplars and field maples, among the many spontaneous bushes, listening to the birds that nest among the trees.
The accommodation
Guest accommodation is provided in six rooms to accommodate 2-3 guests, all with private bathrooms. The rooms are tastefully furnished in keeping with the rural setting, and all include televisions, air conditioning and free internet connection.
A buffet breakfast is served in a lounge with a large window overlooking the lawn, or during summer, why not enjoy the delicious produce outdoors?
Guests can get involved on the farm all year round, with guided tours which show the various activities involved, and also explain the farm’s philosophy of respecting nature and its rhythms.
Activities and surrounding
Horse riding lessons are available from the farm’s qualified instructors, suitable for beginners to advanced riders. Both children and adults are welcome, and there are also horseback excursions through the surrounding countryside. The pony school is also available for children as young as five to discover the world of horse riding using Pony Games techniques: the pony becomes a playmate, helping the child to develop a moral and social code, and building skills that will help them in all equestrian disciplines.
The farm also has its own 9 hole golf course complete with driving range and putting green. Ideal for beginner golfers, who can then move on to larger courses such as the nearby Albarella Golf Club. Guests can also enjoy the agriturismo’s open air theatre performances.
The farm is ideally located for visiting the Po delta, Chioggia, and the sea at the Ferrara Lidos. Venice and Verona are an hour away by car, Padua is just 30 minutes away, and 20 minutes takes you to Ferrara.
