Set in a former military building of the Serenissima Republic of Venice that dates back to 1730, Agriturismo Goro Veneto offers rooms with unique décor. Located in the heart of the park delta del po, 5 km from the sea along the left bank of the Po di Goro, the farm is a place of peace to relax, rediscover the contact with nature and rediscover the rhythms and flavors of the past . Former fort of the serenissima dating back to 1730, the estate was later transformed into a manor house and after recent renovations, used as a farmhouse with bed and breakfast service. The church attached to the house is now a tasting room for excellent snacks prepared with local products such as homemade cold cuts, cheeses with honey, fresh fruit and vegetables in season. All ten rooms are furnished with period furniture and equipped with modern comforts. The double rooms (eight in all) have TV, private bathroom, air conditioning and some even with a seating corner. The farm also offers a wonderful swimming pool, spacious and equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds, where to spend the summer days in total relaxation.

With our flat-bottom boats, specially tested, we can touch the less man-made areas and more? suggestive of the extreme Delta del Po, an authentic treasure trove of biodiversity ?, where does the owner and? l? avifauna, l? ittiofauna and more? various botanical species that grow wild in these humid and brackish areas. In our tour we sail the branch of the Po di Gnocca up to the mouth: between shafts, lagoons, salt marshes,? Orti? of mollusks, fishing valleys, we enter the dense maze of Bonello Bacucco to the mouth where the great river marries with the sea. From the reed we head for the island of love for aperitif on the lighthouse of Goro, walk with the children along the shore to collect the shells, while in the summer season we take advantage for a dip in the Adriatic. The excursion lasts about three hours, with embarkation at 10.00 and return for 1.00 pm, or in the afternoon with departure at 3.00 pm until 6.00 pm. In the summer, on the other hand, between the reeds, several species nest between which some rare nesting in the Delta, for example. the VOLPOCA, the FALCO DI PALUDE and the AIRONE ROSSO. Tenuta Goro Veneto organizes excursions by mountain bike or on foot to discover these treasures of the Po Delta. Discovering the most hidden corners The flat territory of the Park is the ideal destination for nature itineraries by bike immersed in nature. Cycling is frequent to meet birds like the black heron that awaits the meal on the banks of a canal, and then take the majestic flight over the surrounding countryside. Thus also the little egret and the red heron. The lagoon environment of the Po Delta Park is one of the richest in Europe from an ecological point of view. The lack of traffic, at times total, makes this area a little paradise for bicycle lovers. One of the most scenic routes starts from Goro, crossing the bridge of Santa Giulia boats up to the wonderful inlet of the Sacca degli Scardovari.
