AgriBed Quierta

The La Quierta farm is located near theCansiglio Plateau at 1060 m above sea level in the municipality of Fregona in the province of Treviso, in the middle of an ancient pasture area and surrounded by forest, where large beech forests meet mixed vegetation.

The main outdoor facilities are a picnic area, children's games and books, table tennis, trampoline, deck chairs/loungers, and hammock.

Renovated in 2018, the old cow barn becomes Agribed. Inside are cozy rooms, clad entirely in antique larch for an intimate setting with the sincere scent of a wood with exceptional aromas. The presence of beech nourishes the warmth of the structure indicating the importance of this area.

By independently managing the cutting of the surrounding woods , the facility obtains without waste the necessary to guarantee guests pleasant temeperatures in the winter period. On the other hand, the softness of the spruce, which is well present in the area, will have the great task of lulling guests to rest.

The farmhouse consists of 3 rooms equipped with every comfort:

Orio

The view in Orio is the best, the many windows overlook the pasture meadows and the ancient llama. During the warm season guests can admire the animals watering and, in the silence of the evening, the mirror of water reflecting moon and stars.
With a comfortable double bed, two single rollaway beds and private bathroom can accommodate up to 4 people.

Mila

It is the larger of the two doubles and like its sister has a private bathroom and comfortable double bed, otherwise, however, it has a single rollaway bed and an immovable raised bed that makes it the most popular with all the children. A large window overlooks the well-kept alpine garden, granting a pleasant evening breeze in summer that can gently accompany the sleep of all guests.

Iroso

The large room offers three small bedrooms with bunk beds, two for two, one for four and an additional single; the bathroom is shared. Suitable for groups of friends and families but still versatile even for large solitary walkers and photographers looking for great shots, the room enjoys the same view as Orio and a small garden in front of the entrance where you can rest comfortably on deck chairs and armchairs.

At Agribed Quierta you can enjoy a hearty breakfast, sweet, savory or mixed, admiring the surrounding pasture from the bright veranda or in summer from the garden, accompanied by the song of the birds, which are numerous in the area. The facility is well attentive to guests' diets and dietary difficulties, in fact, also thanks to its own products, it will strive to satisfy all requests. It will therefore be the guests' responsibility to report in advance any intolerances or special diets, so where possible, to be able to prepare themselves as well as possible.

The activities that can be practiced near the facility are many: from simple but appreciated relaxation, having in fact wonderful spaces for reading and doing nothing, to the many walks made gentle by the gentle slopes of the plateau, with the possibility of being accompanied by expert environmental tour guides, bicycle paths, with the possibility of e-bike rental in the facility and as many as 18 holes present in the historic and well-kept golf course.

In winter the possibility of Nordic skiing and snowshoeing, day and night, given the kind possibility of renting equipment on the plain.

In summer the museums of man in Cansiglio and the Cimbri, the botanical garden, the ancient villages of the Cimbrian peoples, and in nearby Vittorio Veneto the museum of the Great War.

On the other hand, the numerous malghe (shepherd's huts) and restaurants near the facility lend themselves to satisfying the food and wine requests of guests, offering typical dishes of this mountain area at their best.

The struttra is located only 80km from Cortina D'Ampezzo and 70km from Venice.
