The farmhouse Ca' Cristane is located within a small farm with vineyards, olive groves and orchards. The farmhouse is hidden behind a hill, sheltered by a forest, all that shields from the frenzy of the summer season, but at the same time it is only 15 min from Lake Garda and near Bardolino, easily reachable.

The atmosphere here is that of a small rural village of the late nineteenth century, of which the main structure is part.

The countryside and the seasons, with their rhythms and the work of the land, still mark the days, busy with activities in the fields to produce wine and oil,beekeeping andbreeding of chickens.

The farmhouse was born from the recovery of a house in a country village of the nineteenth century and a barchessa.

You can therefore choose to stay in the rooms, in thehistoric building, if you want to be pampered, or in the apartments for those who prefer more autonomy. All accommodations are furnished with theessential but cared for in every detail.

The rooms are spacious and welcoming, contemporary elements dialogue with the old, and the space is filled with the light of the surrounding landscape, bringing out the solid wood of the ceilings.

The great richness of the farmhouse resides outside, among terraces, courtyards and common gardens.

The terrace and the gardens open up towards the Adige valley and are always crowded during the day: in the morning you can have breakfast there, in the shade of a persimmon plant and a pergola of kiwis and, towards the end of the afternoon, when the sun retires, you can enjoy a glass of wine.

More intimate is the small stone courtyard, with an old well, lemons that color it and small chairs. Here reigns silence and tranquility.

This year there is an important novelty: a swimming pool that will be ready by summer,in a panoramic and secluded area, from which you can admire the mountains and the Adige valley, let yourself be rocked by the wind of the trees in the woods and enjoy the peace and silence.

Even waking up is an important moment of the day, because everyone prepares, in the breakfast room, recovered in an old stone vaulted barn, fresh and homemade products, such as jams made with fruit from local trees or local artisanal companies. The philosophy that reigns in the farmhouse is to eat well and learn the stories behind the raw materials.

Part of the vacation is to leave room for local flavors: at the agriturismo you can find products to taste during your stay or to take home as a souvenir.

Honey from the bees, which roam free and industrious, and oil, a green gold that comes from the hand-harvesting of untreated olives.

Finally, the wine: a chardonnay for aperitifs, a red wine for evenings with friends and a pinot for romantic dinners.

Here you will find the essentials to relax and enjoy the countryside, without distractions, to temporarily remove the thoughts and worries of every day. Ca' Cristane is a refuge to find tranquillity but, at the same time, the ideal starting point for all the possible excursions and adventures that the multifaceted Veronese territory provides.

A thick wood of young oaks watches over the area from above: inside, there are several paths where you can walk and admire plants, shrubs, wild flowers and, for the luckiest ones, the small animals that, like squirrels, live in the wood.

Halfway between lake and mountain, plain and hill, the beautiful lake shores sung by Goethe are located a few kilometers away, with their pastel-colored villages , harbors crowded with boats that can be rented for a swim offshore, beaches suitable for adults and children, aperitifs at sunset.

In the exact opposite direction, in the same distance, you can reach Mount Baldo, from here you can take long walks on its barren ridges that lead to the discovery of breathtaking landscapes, find a comfortable lawn of a bright green for a picnic, or, if you prefer, taste some malga cheese, while, a short distance away, the flock grazes.

The hills are instead the prerogative of gourmand travelers or lovers of two wheels.

Rich in vineyards from time immemorial as the Valpolicella, the cradle of one of the many Italian excellences, theAmarone.

Sirmione, landscape gem and spa resort since Roman times, is also told through its Lugana DOC, a still white wine with floral scents.

These cliffs on which the vineyards are located are however crossed by a maze of bicycle and pedestrian paths which also lap the vineyards and which also join ancient villages and old paths, far from the roar of motors.

Even Rivoli, the town where the structure is located, has a peculiar history: there are prehistoric traces, the remains of a medieval stronghold obviously the protagonist of legends and ancient stories handed down to us as that of "La castellana di Rivoli".
