The agriturismo
Agriturismo dei Grippi was established in 2007, at the behest of brothers Alberto and Marco Faccioli, who, having always been engaged in agricultural work and wine production, decided to create a welcoming accommodation facility immersed in the countryside.
The accommodation
Agriturismo dei Grippi, founded in 2007 by brothers Alberto and Marco Faccioli, is located in Sona, between Lake Garda and Verona, on the grounds of the family farm. In addition to accommodations in suites and vineyard cottages, the farm produces wine, grains, jams and other artisanal products with the goal of maintaining a healthy, biodiversity-rich land for future generations.
Since 2020, the winery has adopted organic-regenerative farming on 25 hectares of vineyards, using sustainable techniques such as green manure, composting and biological control to improve biodiversity and soil quality. This approach has resulted in the Noumeno wine line.
In 2024, the farm introduced a new restaurant with an indoor dining room and a large outdoor space, offering seasonal, zero-mile dishes prepared with fresh ingredients from the farmers' market and local farms. The earth-inspired menu includes artisanal cured meats, local cheeses, homemade breads and jams, as well as fresh pasta dishes and traditional recipes.
For hospitality, Agriturismo dei Grippi offers several options:
- Mobile cottages in the vineyards: 7 rustic shelters of 50 sqm with cork exterior walls, small porches and panoramic windows.
- Family suite: bright and cozy 45 sqm room.
- Junior family suite: 40 sqm room, ideal for couples, with views of the countryside.
- Standard rooms: 9 rooms of 25 sqm with private bathrooms, double bed and possibility of a third bed or single beds.
- Studio apartments: 2 units of 35 sqm with separate entrance, kitchenette, double bed and sofa bed.
- Superior rooms: 3 rooms of 30 sq m with wrought-iron double bed, furnished in pastel colors.
The farmhouse also has a modernly equipped meeting room and a park for team building activities. The in-house restaurant is available for business lunches and dinners, making Agriturismo dei Grippi an ideal venue for corporate events and business meetings.
Activities and surrounding
The property is strategically located to reach with great ease the historic center of Verona where it is possible to admire all the architectural, artistic, lyrical and theatrical beauties. Easily accessible, the beautiful Lake Garda where the picturesque landscape is offered, with its marinas and olive trees.
In a few minutes by car you can reach the enchanted world
of Gardaland and then dive into the water park Caneva. From the farm you can reach the Parco Giardino Sicurtà, one of the most beautiful in the world, which covers 50 hectares of meadows, flowers and centuries-old plants.
Also close by is Mantua, with its splendid palaces and porticoes. Also recommended is the history-nature tour to the places where the battles of national independence history took place: Solferino, San Martino della Battaglia, Villafranca di Verona, Custoza.
