A former 18th century villa, it has been transformed into a charming accommodation. Over the past years, great care and expertise were utilized to refurbish the entire villa in a style that provides a luxurious environment whilst maintaining the beauty and heritage of the building, surrounded by its beautiful gardens and by the woods of the berici hills.

Agriturismo San Michele is located in a protected area, known as "Valletta del Silenzio", a few steps from Palladio's Villa Capra, better known as "La Rotonda" and Villa Valmarana ai Nani. It is situated in a strategic position to easily reach the historic centre and is easily accessible from the motorway. The property consists of a large plot of land that includes an old vineyard, a young olive grove and meadows frequented by roe deer, hares, badgers and wild pheasants. The property consists of a typical Venetian house of eighteenth-century construction, recently renovated, which offers accommodation in eight rooms, bright and well furnished. During the warmer months you can sunbathe in the yard in front of the house and cool off in the popular Jacuzzi or rest in the shade of the centuries-old trees in the garden.

The accommodations are equipped with every comfort, such as air conditioning and heating with independent control, LCD satellite television, private bathroom, refrigerator, microwave oven, kettle, hairdryer, safe, free WiFi connection, independent access with magnetic card, personal slippers and courtesy service.

The new management, started in April 2019, wants to offer to loyal and new guests a comfortable, relaxing and familiar environment, as a starting point to discover the rich landscape, culture and food and wine of the Veneto region.
 

The San Michele leads only 5 minutes by car from the historical center of Vicenza, an exceptional artistic creation considering the numerous architectural contributions made by Andrea Palladio, all of which are integrated into a historical context that gives the city its overall character. The city's architecture has had a strong influence over the architecture and urban planning in the majority of European countries and the whole world.

Villa Capra Valmarana "La Rotonda" is 5 minutes on foot from the San Michele, some of rooms face on the Villa's gardens, in his own treatise Palladio included this villa among the town buildings "for proximity" to the town. The architect describes the surrounding environment with these words: "the place is one of the most pleasant and delightful that can be found, because it is washed by the navigable river Bacchiglione, on one side, and surrounded, on the other side, by beautiful hills, so that it looks like a very great Theatre". The building started between 1566 and 1568 and the rough works probably ended in 1571.
