This is an ideal holiday for those seeking peace and relaxation or for art history lovers, who can visit the Palladian villas and the nearby towns of Vicenza, Verona, Padua, and Venice.
Giovanni and Giulia, the owners, lives in the villa and so are able to give a personal service. They have two houses for guests which can accommodate up to twelve people.
The "Lime- tree house" is furnished with antique furniture and looks out the park. It has two floors: downstairs there is a sitting room, kitchen and bathroom and upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom.
The "Pomegranate house" is adjacent to the villa and is an apartment: sitting room, kitchen, two Bedrooms and a bathroom.
The farm produces organic fruit and vegetables. If you come in the spring, you will find melons, water melons, tomatoes, peppers and other vegetables. It's possible to buy their products directly from the farm shop.
The farmhouse accommodation is well situated in the culturally rich and naturally beautiful Vicenza province of the Veneto. It is near the Berici Hills but is also well served by roads. The Venice-Milan A4 motorway is an excellent starting point for day trips.
It's possible to visit some important historical towns as Vicenza, 15 kilometres, Bassano, 35 kilometres, Padua and the Brenta Riviera, 27 kilometres, Verona, Lake Garda, Soave, 65 kilometres, Venice and Lido, 61 kilometres Treviso, 45 kilometres.
The farmhouse is also an excellent starting point to visit the Eugani hills, the Dolomites and the alps or Abano Terme.
It's suggests some bicycle trips: a long ride along the embankment from Montegalda towards Cervarese and Padua; easy (Longare-Costozza-Lumignano-Montegalda-Colzè) ideal for an evening ride; hard (Longare-Colli Berici-Santa Tecla track-San Rocco-Longara-Debba-Longare-Colzè), these are the best itineraries that the Berici Hills offer; Vicenza: a 15 kilometre bike ride from Colzé to the centre of Vicenza. On the way you can visit the splendid Villas Rotonda and Valmarana ai Nani.
