My name is Giancarlo and together with my staff I run the Agriturismo Villanova, a family-owned property for over 3 centuries found in one of the most beautiful parts of Liguria. I studied and worked in Genoa, but in my free time I always loved coming here to relax, until I got the idea of turning this summer residence into a tourist spot that could join farming with hospitality. What do I love most about my job? The positive feedback we keep getting from our guests makes us feel that it's all worth it.

What I'm most proud about regarding my work is the kind of agriturismo we've created. We like to define our farm as a family place, because this is really the ideal location for the entire family. Behind the scenes, who could there be but a real family, with a mom, dad, and three kids? Together, we've tried to create great memories for our guests who come here to this wonderful place in Puglia.

It was 2008 when a string of coincidences led us to move from Brianza, where we lived, and buy a country home between the Langhe and Monferrato. So our adventure started, and on October 1, 2011 we opened Tenuta Valdorso! With 8 rooms, restaurant, and the entire farm we tend to. What makes us special? We put our hearts into everything we do.
