How does the website work

1. How does the website Agriturismo.it work?

On the portal Agriturismo.it you can make reservations online, but also contact the structures by email or telephone:

- Farmhouses with Booking Online and Immediate Booking: marked by the orange pane “Book” or “Book Now”, below the total amount of the reservation;

- Farmhouses with Direct Contact with the owners: the reservation is managed directly by the owner of the farmhouse, and they are marked by the orange pane “Request accommodation”, below the total amount of the reservation.

2. Is it possible to use the website Agriturismo.it from a smartphone?

The mobile version of the website Agriturismo.it is accessible from your Android and iOS smartphone. You can log in with your credentials in the same way as the desktop version from your computer.

If you would like to save it on your smartphone for a quick access, we recommend you to add it to your Home screen:

- Log in at Agriturismo.it from your mobile device, from Safari (for iOS devices) or from Google Chrome (for Android devices); open the settings of your internet page and click on “Add to Home Screen”.

Search, contacts and information about the accommodation

1. How can I optimise my search on Agriturismo.it?

Once you have entered your destination, the dates of your stay and the number of guests, you can start searching for the farmhouse that satisfies your needs!

To optimise your search, you can use the search filters, selecting the required characteristics for: facilities, board type, accommodation type, property setting, holiday type, offers.

In addition, if you are looking for a farmhouse directly bookable online, you can also tick the orange box “Booking online”.

2. How can I contact the owner of a farmhouse?

To contact the owners of the farmhouses, you can use the “Contact” or “Request accommodation” form directly on the presentation of every farmhouse: fill in the form with all your details and click on the orange pane “Send request” (make sure to type your email address correctly before sending the request!).

The farmhouses with direct contact with the owners can also be contacted by telephone: you can find the telephone number to call directly on the presentation of the farmhouse by clicking on the green pane “Call the agriturismo” (remember to enter the dates and number of guests beforehand in order to display it).

3. What can I do if the owner of the farmhouse does not respond?

We invite the owners to answer quickly to the requests that they receive from tourists, however, if you sent a contact request and you have not received an answer from the farmhouse within 48 hours, you can contact us at [email protected] so that we can solicit a response to your request, or we suggest you to make a new search and contact other farmhouses.

Bookings and payments

1. How can I book a farmhouse?

- Farmhouses with Booking Online and Immediate Booking:

In the “Rooms and prices” section of the farmhouse, click on the orange pane “Book” or “Book now”, below the total amount of the reservation (check that you have entered the dates and number of guests correctly);

Then follow the steps to complete your reservation and make deposit payment online.

- Farmhouses with Direct Contact with the owners:

To book a farmhouse that does not have the orange pane “Book” or “Book now” and therefore does not offer the online booking, it is necessary to contact the owner of the structure to agree on booking and payment arrangements;

In the “Rooms and prices” section of the farmhouse, click on the orange pane “Request accommodation” during the quote phase; or click on the orange pane “Contact” to send a message, or on the green pane “Call the agriturismo” to call the owners directly (remember to enter the dates first!).

2. How can I pay online?

- Farmhouses with Booking Online and Immediate Booking:

For the payment of the deposit you can use a card enabled for online payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express etc.). The percentage of the deposit required during the online payment at the time of booking is variable and set directly by the owners of the farmhouse.

The payment of the balance will be made directly at the structure with the owners of the farmhouse.

- Farmhouses with Direct Contact with the owners:

It is necessary to contact the owner of the farmhouse to agree on booking and payment arrangements.

3. What can I do if I experience problems during the online payment process?

If you experience difficulties during the payment process for an online booking, please try to check the following points:

- Card enabled for online payments: check that your card is enabled for online payments. If not, use another credit card that is enabled, if available.

- Insufficient funds or card payment limit: check that you have sufficient funds on the card used for the payment; check that you have not reached the monthly payment limit applied to your credit card. If necessary, contact your bank.

- 3D Secure Code entry: this is a temporary code received from the bank (OTP - One Time Password), to be entered into the system to confirm the online payment via multi-factor authentication.

4. What happens after I have made my reservation online?

If you have booked online a farmhouse with immediate booking, your reservation is automatically confirmed upon successful payment.

You will then receive a confirmation email at the address provided during the reservation process, with your booking voucher.

If you have booked online a farmhouse with booking upon confirmation, your reservation will be waiting for the owner confirmation. The owner has 24 hours to confirm or reject your reservation request upon successful payment. You will receive an update of your booking status directly to your email address provided during the reservation process, with your booking voucher.

If the reservation is accepted by the farmhouse, the advance payment will be charged to the card account used for the online payment.

5. Where can I find my booking voucher?

Following your online reservation, you will receive your voucher directly to the email address provided during the reservation process. If you can’t find it, please check that the communication is not in your “Spam” folder.

If you have not received your voucher, please contact us at [email protected] to receive a copy.

6. The owner did not confirm my reservation, when will my payment be refunded?

In case the farmhouse rejects your reservation, you will see the amount pre-authorized during the reservation online available again within a few days. With pre-authorization, the amount is only temporarily blocked for a variable time.

Change a reservation

1. How can I modify a reservation with a change of dates or accommodation?

You can decide, in agreement with the owner of the farmhouse, to change the dates or the accommodation of your reservation (change subject to availability). In this case, the reservation remains confirmed at the same economic conditions.

To proceed with the change, we need to receive a written confirmation of the agreement from both sides at the email address [email protected], indicating the new agreed dates of your stay or the name of the new agreed accommodation at least two days before the check-in date.

Please note: The portal will only be able to change the period of stay or the accommodation: no changes will be made to the price, that may be eventually agreed directly between host and guest.

Cancellation policy

1. What are the cancellation policies? How can I cancel my reservation?

Farmhouses with Booking Online and Immediate Booking:

Each farmhouse has free cancellation up to a certain number of days before the check-in date. The cancellation terms are set by the owners of the farmhouse and are indicated in the general listing, clicking on “Free cancellation”, or in green colour in the “Rooms and prices” section of the farmhouse.

You can proceed with free cancellation according to the terms and conditions indicated by the farmhouse at the time of reservation. These terms are also indicated on the booking voucher, in the “Cancellation policy” section, from which you can proceed directly with the cancellation of your reservation.

- Farmhouses with Direct Contact with the owners:

In case of a reservation made through direct contact with the owners of the farmhouse, the cancellation conditions indicated by the farmhouse itself and the agreements between host and guest are applied.

Corporate Benefits discount code

1. Where can I use my corporate benefits discount code?

If you have a corporate benefits discount code, you can use it for the online booking in selected farmhouses on our website.

Select the region you are interested in, then filter your research by "Offers" and choose "Discount coupon". This will give you a complete listing of the farmhouses where you can use this code quickly and directly during your online booking: simply enter the code under "Do you have a discount code?" during the online payment phase, and the amount will be discounted directly on your booking total.
