The agriturismo

Torre Mannella is a Farmhouse estate surrounded by vineyards of Montepulciano and Trebbiano (D.O.C.) grape varieties. In Abruzzo, near the sea Adriatic (10 km) and because of its peaceful location, Torre Mannella is particularly suitable for families with babies and young children.

 

The accommodation

Accomodation is provided in the old tower, which has always been called " Torre Mannella", in the farm house end in original stable;

The "tower", renovated in the original architectural style with stone-paved floors, wooden beams, doors and windows, and authentic internal fittings, has all the comfort of a modern house, with two adjoining bedrooms, a large kitchen with fireplace, and bathroom with shower (4-5 bed).

4 furnished apartments with kitchen area and bathroom are provided in the farmhouse, which was originally built for the farm labourers .

3 furnished two roomed flats are provided in the original stable. A swimming-pool, a large barbeque and verandah are available for the use of the tenants.

During their stay, tenants can eat the produce of the vegetable garden and taste the typical foods of the Abruzzo region: extra vergin olive oil "Aprutino Pescarese" , Montepulciano and Trebbiano wines, marmalades and other conserves.

All these products are cultivated in eco-friendly fashion, according to the directives of the European Community.

Activities and surrounding

Torre Mannella is situated in an ideal location, allowing tenants to discover Abruzzo in all its beauty: The Adriatic beach can be reached in a few minutes by car, and the mountains are also close at hand. The National Park of Maiella and Gran Sasso Monti della Laga are in a radius of 50 Km and can be reached in a short time. Airport's Pescara at 20 Km.

- From Airport: turn left for Pescara; after o,5 Km turn left for Ancona-sp Adriatica (circulation); at the end turn left for Montesilvanpo: after 6 Km to the traffic lights turn left for Città Sant'Angelo; after passing the motor-way entrance you go straight to Elice: after 6,4 Km on the rights there's via F.De Blasiis: at number 15 there's Torre Mannella.

Amazing
We spent two relaxing weeks in a unique location in the middle of the hills. A facility that I recommend, a beautiful view , but above all the tranquility . The managers , kind people and always helpful .
