The present complex is the result of several building stages: the ground floor dates back to the early’700s and was a main feature of the farm.
The first floor was added in 1850 for the owners, priests who wished to move to the countryside, to “…recover that peace of soul compromised by the bleakness of town”, as the inscription above the front door reads.
The settlement was completed with a tiny church, still now consecrated and dedicated to Our Lady of Graces, as well as a small aedicule which stands at the end of a pergola made with columns dating back to those days.
The stables building is the latest part of the complex, it was erected in the early ‘900; this wing now includes the restaurant and, on the first floor, the bedrooms , all fitted with en-suite bathroom, TV, mini-bar and period furniture; some rooms enjoy sea view.
Next to this building there are other four rooms situated on ground floor, all with independent access, and a small flat (independent, on the first floor) made up of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one of which fitted with bathtub, small living room (kitchenette) and a pleasant terrace. All accommodations have a view on the swimming pool and garden.
Each room is cosy, features tasteful period furniture, and is fitted with en-suite bathroom (shower), fridge, TV, hair dryer, ventilation and kitchenette (on request). The facility can accommodate disabled guests.
Double swimming pool (adults and children) with hydromassage and enjoyable waterfalls, adults’ pool depth ranges from cm. 120 to cm. 170, the area is surrounded by a vast lawn.
Silvio and Caterina, always willing to satisfy their clientele, create typical local dishes employing freshly picked products from their own “Morello” farm. Parmigiana dishes, vegetable flans, succulent old days specialities prepared with courgettes, peppers and aubergines, focaccia, typical Apulian “panzerotti”(folded pizza filled with Mozzarella cheese, meat or onions), as well as multifarious and delicious desserts that enrich the breakfast buffet and complete the dinners under the pergola in front of the restaurant.
