Pino Grande is a true farmhouse, in the heart of the Alta Murgia National Park, just a few kilometers from the mysterious beauty of Castel del Monte, inspired by organic principles, in harmony between man and nature.
The name desired by the Pavan brothers, heirs to a farm of approx. 38 ha, pays tribute to the presence of a majestic pine tree nearly 300 years old. It offers lodging in 7 rooms with breakfast or half board .
It has a Slow-Food restaurant.
In full respect of its ancient architecture made of local stone (restoration works were excellently directed by Eng. Natalino Petrone of Corato), the building consists on the ground floor of two small rooms, reception and breakfast or dining room, and a larger restaurant room that can comfortably accommodate 44 guests. The set of rooms could therefore cater for 70 people max.
The upper floors, which can also be reached by elderly and partially disabled people with an elegant lifting platform (home-lift), consist of 7 bedrooms, two of which, very large, also allow the addition of cribs. The offer of hospitality is completed by the availability of a small room with a small library and two living rooms.

Little roomNicola: small room with two single beds, hallway bathroom shared with little room Stefano. Excellent solution at an affordable price, guests will be surprised by the quiet and coolness enjoyed on hot summer days, with the possibility of using the reading room in front. Heating, wi-fi.
All rooms are equipped with heating and largely fitted with period fixtures and family furniture from the last six generations that help give the stay that intimate and cozy character that is among the main aims of the farmhouse.
The oldest nucleus of the receptive structure, once the rural dwelling of the former owner of the entire farm, called Citulo, now split into several properties, can be traced back to the 17th century with extensive additions and modifications dating back to the first half of the 1800s. At that time the territory, which was already subject to the feudal lordship of the Carafa family, dukes of Andria and counts of Ruvo, following the process of privatization of state lands, generally became the possession of notables or members of the great agrarian bourgeoisie, who built their summer residences here.
