The accommodation

Masseria Cappuccini offers a warm welcome, in an understated, elegant setting. You'll find a cluster of authentic “trulli” dwellings, with original features, such as the flooring, alcoves and stone detailing, as well as the main house with 20 hectares of land and a large woodland with oak trees, olive trees and vines. The property has recently been fully renovated, preserving the shape, the volume and part of the original structures, and transforming the estate into a cosy, comfortable agriturismo.

Close to the beautiful sea, this is a typical, highly characteristic Apulian structure, in a relaxing rural setting, surrounded by nature, history and culture, the ideal base for those who want to enjoy the comfort and serenity of a natural environment at the heart of one of Italy's most prestigious regions.

Stretching between the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto, the Itria Valley represents the beating heart of Apulia.The agriturismo is located in this enchanting place, nestled in breathtaking landscape, where age old olive trees stand on red earth, dotted with poppies and wild daisies, interspersed by the grey and white of the trulli dwellings. Alberobello, Matera, Lecce and the airports of Bari and Brindisi are all easily accessible.

You can take a trip to Ostuni (known as the White City), Locorotondo, Cisternino, Alberobello – a World Heritage Site since 1996 and awarded the Italian Touring Club Orange Flag – as well as the famous Castellana Caves, a karst system 70 metres below the ground, just 1.5 km from the agriturismo, near the hamlets of the Itria Valley.

We loved our stay! The trulli have a lot of charm and the children said they were living in the smurf house. The swimming pool is splendid and almost always free. There are many things to do in the area. Highly recommended!

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately this is a special year due to COVID, and in Italy there are special restrictions, e.g. that upholstered cushions cannot be placed in areas that are accessible to other guests, e.g. on the sofas outside the accommodation, so the sofas did not have them. The service we offer is from B & B and therefore it is not possible to offer meals outside breakfast, but there is a mini-market nearby with excellent bakery products where you can get what you need. The rooms are equipped with a free minibar.
Glasses, plates and cutlery will be provided to those who ask for it, as no meals are provided. My family and I live in the structure, but we avoid walking around the guests out of respect for their privacy. All accommodations have an indoor pavilion, including the one you stayed in. I'm sorry that the respect for your privacy was interpreted as a lack of attention to you. That was certainly not our intention. I thank you for being our guests and with the wish that this strange year will never happen again, I greet you.
