The agriturismo
In the heart of the Parco Nazionale del Gargano, this family-style, inviting agriturismo is an oasis of peace where you can spend a holiday in nature, right near the Baia di Calenella, in a landscape that moves from the forest to the sea.
Access to sea is only 900 m away; guests will have umbrellas, two chaise lounges, activities for adults and kids, parking.
The accommodation
The flats for guests are spacious and sun-filled, private entrance, large verandas and tasteful furnishings. They have sat TV with DVD player, air conditioning, blow dryer, barbecue and reserved parking.
Outdoors, an equipped pool amidst olive trees and a lovely garden are relaxation areas for everyone. An umbrella and two lounges for each flat are included in the price. For kids we offer a playground.
In an area near the flats you may wash your clothes, while a laundromat is found along the sea: we have special deals with them for our guests (bar, restaurant with half- or full-meal plan, pizzeria...).
Activities and surrounding
The curvy roads of the Gargano are the preferred destination of excursionists and bike riders, who may try their hand at varying uphill intensities. Nearby you can also walk into the woods or go horse riding, thanks to the presence of numerous stables and expert guides. We also offer boat tours for groups.
Sea and scuba lovers may have fun in the bays and delightful grottos along the entire coast, near Peschici and Vieste. The Gargano offers many paths amidst churches and imposing Romanesque cathedrals, like the Abbazia di Kàlena at Peschici, or the Cattedrale di S. Maria di Merino in Vieste. If you love art, don’t miss the castle of Vieste or the historic centre of Vico del Gargano, which is now one of the "Loveliest Hamlets in Italy" for its typical alleys.
Among the religious itineraries, the most known are S. Giovanni Rotondo with the Basilica di S. Pio, and the grotto of S. Michele a Monte Sant'Angelo. Nearby you can also go horse riding, where experts will accompany you to the most fascinating places in the area.
