The agriturismo
Azienda Agrituristica Scalelle is immersed in 20 hectares of green in the countryside, 2 km from the center of Otranto. This farm stay has free parking, restaurant with typical Salento cuisine, children playground, mini zoo e football pitch.
Bungalow and Apartments are all on the ground floor, with a kitchenette, a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, bathroom with shower and private veranda ideal for lunch or dinner outdoors.
Azienda Agrituristica Scalelle produces organic vegetables and Extra Virgin olive oil.
The accommodation
The daily breakfast includes milk (produced on the farm), fresh fruit, cheese, jams and a big variety of cakes, muffins, tarts and many other specialties all homemade plus coffe, tea and fruit juices.
Our local typical cuisine is a source of pride for us and appreciated by all as we only use products from our own land products served in 2 rooms for the restaurant: the abundant starters, homemade traditional pasta, grilled meat and digestives such as myrtle, limoncello and basil are just some of our specialties, all accompanied by an excellent red or white wine, strictly of the house. Fully equipped kitchen for coeliacs, vegetarians and vegans.
For lovers of camping large shaded green area equipped.

Activities and surrounding
The farm has been certified by Bioagricert, and has been growing organic grain, orzo, oats, vegetables and olives for 10 years. It is a part of the “Scuola in Fattoria” educational farm circuit and, in spring, offers a range of interesting educational courses.
The minizoo is home to a variety of animals you can meet and pet: Arturo the little donkey, Carolina the cow, but also ostriches, lamas, horses, ponies, Tibetan goats and barnyard animals such as rabbits, hens, geese, ducks and peacocks.
Art lovers will enjoy the Sculpture Classes using Lecce stone, directed by Prof. Sandro Marinacci.
