An 18th-century farmhouse surrounded by olive trees, just a few kilometers from the Salento coast, with its fishing villages, art cities and golden beaches. To relax amidst the scents of the Mediterranean in a refined, rural and family environment.

Originally used for agricultural, pastoral and productive activity, it was on the routes of transhumance. Today, with 150 hectares of olive groves, the property is anolive oil producing farm.

A family-run farmhouse steeped in history and with a strong connection to the land.

At one time, farm buildings adjacent to the stately home provided shelter for shepherds and farmers, their tools and animals. Today, after a long and careful renovation respecting the history and materials, these rooms have been transformed into comfortable guest rooms and hospitality facilities, including a communal breakfast room, a swimming pool with bar , and arelaxation area in the shade of the arches of the old sheepfold.

Here is the perfect place to be enveloped in the charm of the past amid vaulted ceilings, lime walls, and stone fireplaces. In the morning, wake up to tea, coffee, juice, fruit, homemade cakes, fresh produce and local specialties served in the breakfast room. Then, a dip in the pool set among the dazzling white of the surrounding buildings. In the evening, you can relax on the private patio, ideal for intimate evenings with friends and family.

The masseria has 10 rooms individually decorated with traditional materials, period furnishings and handcrafted items to create a simple, cozy and refined environment. All rooms have private bathrooms with showers, wi-fi, air conditioning, TV, dining table, refrigerator and a furnished outdoor area. Some rooms have a kitchenette.

3 adults. The former home of the 'trainiere'. Features a double bed and a single sofa bed.

Room 3 "La stadda ti li cavaddi" (Superior)
4 adults 1 child.The former horse stable. The sleeping area has a double bed and a crib for children (up to 12 years old). The separate living area has a double sofa bed.

Room 4 "Rafeli lu sciardinieri" (Superior).
4 adults 1 child. The former home of the gardener. The sleeping area has a double bed and a crib for children (up to 12 years). The separate living area has a double sofa bed.

3 adults. The former home of the trappitari who processed olives. The sleeping area has a double bed. The separate living area has a single sofa bed.

Room 6 "Lu sintinaru" (Standard)
2 adults 1 child. Once the room where the oil was allowed to decant. It has a double bed and a crib for children (up to 12 years old).

Room 7 "Cucina ti li trappitari" (Standard)
2 adults 1 child. The old kitchen of the trappetari. Features a double bed and a crib for children (up to 12 years old).

Room 8 "Lu fattori" (Deluxe)
3 adults. The old farmer's dwelling. Features a double bed and a single sofa bed.

Room 10 "Lu picuraru" (Superior)
4 adults. The old shepherd's dwelling. Features a double bed and a double sofa bed.

Room 11 "La mercia" (Deluxe).
2 adults 1 child. The ancient dairy of the masseria. Features a double bed and a crib for children (up to 12 years old).

Agriturismo Masseria Rescio is located in Salento, Puglia, in southern Italy. Surrounded by olive trees, the property is just 10 kilometers from the sea.

For a day at the beach, Punta Prosciutto, internationally known for its golden sand andcrystal clear water
, is a fifteen-minute drive
away. The beaches of Torre Lapillo, Porto Cesareo, San Pietro in Bevagna and Maruggio
are a short distance away.

For the more adventurous, we recommend the Porto Selvaggio nature reserve for a nature walk and a swim. It is possible to visit the ceramic workshops of Grottaglie and explore the architectural treasures of Lecce. We also recommend watching the sunset in Porto Cesareo with an aperitif, dining al fresco in the narrow streets of Oria or spending an evening in beautiful Gallipoli.

The agriturismo is close to supermarkets, restaurants, bars and banks and has private parking.
