The agriturismo
The agriturismo is a striking, inviting oasis set in the countryside of the Pollino National Park, on the right bank of the Vallone river, at about 500 metres altitude.
The farm produces exclusively organic oil, vegetables and fruit.
The agriturismo offers an artificial lake (60 x 30 m) for recreational trout fishing surrounded by an oak wood. Mountain biking and hiking outings are organised along the park trails.
Guests can sample typical local cuisine made with the farm’s own organic produce, mushrooms and truffles.
The accommodation
The agriturismo offers 4 bedrooms on the ground floor and with double bed, and two single beds on a wooden mezzanine floor. The rooms are distributed in two reasonably sized and recently constructed buildings situated amidst large oak trees, with spacious veranda that blends in with the surrounding landscape.
The accommodation units cater for the needs of all families and groups and are perfect for those seeking peace and quiet.
Guests may also avail of a swimming pool with diving board (from June to September), a small kiosk offering snacks, ice creams and drinks, and spaces equipped for barbecues and picnics.
Activities and surrounding
Outings are organised at certain times of year in search of “Tubem Magnatum Pico" (white truffle), a unique experience for learning the techniques and secrets for foraging this precious fungus. Recreational fishing competitions are also organised at the agriturismo’s artificial lake.
Guests can go mountain biking along farm tracks, much of which have been reclaimed by vegetation, or take pleasant walks to enjoy the surrounding countryside, with its oak, alder, chestnut and birch woodlands, crossing many clear water streams.

Place, very relaxing, Mr. John, and a lady whose name I do not remember very nice. Always present and helpful. You can do different activities and excursions in the surroundings, but you can also stay quietly in the farmhouse and relax. Good traditional cuisine. See you soon!

As well as we cook for the guests, we welcome the guests, we take care of the crops.
It was a desire to to live in nature which led me to run an agriturismo.
