The agriturismo
This certified high quality agriturismo opened in June 2007 and offers stylish, welcoming accommodation, the ideal blend of wellbeing and the joy of spending time with family and friends.
The complex slots harmoniously into the enchanting surrounding nature, providing a warm family welcome and delicious wholesome cuisine.
The accommodation
The agriturismo offers 14 rooms with bathrooms, swimming pool with whirlpool and children’s pool, sun terrace with gazebos for enjoying food and drink beside the pool and an additional bath and shower block. On a special children’s trail between the swimming pool and the play area, your little ones can meet cats, dogs and other farm animals.
The farm’s own wholesome ingredients are carefully prepared by the kitchen, to create a selection of delicious dishes, served in front of the open fire in winter or on the veranda in summer. Specialties include cured pork from the farm’s black pigs, homemade pasta and desserts, grilled meats, oven roasted suckling pig and handmade ice-cream.
In the amphitheatre, during the summer months, guests can enjoy delicious pizza whilst admiring the views of the medieval hamlet of Belvedere Marittimo and its Aragonese castle.
Over the estate’s 18 hectares, Calabrian black pigs can be seen grazing on large enclosed pastures, a protected species native to Calabria, along with herds of goats and sheep, a pair of donkeys, Podolica cattle and their calves, hens, chickens, rabbits and turkeys, as well as geese and ducks on the pond.
The educational farm is the ideal way to discover where your food comes from and how the animals live, as well as learning about countryside trades. The farm uses manure and organic fertiliser, producing its own animal food and all the ingredients for the kitchen.
Activities and surrounding
Marina di Belvedere, with its private beach resorts, is just 1.5 km away, accessible on foot along a scenic pathway. The characteristic historic centre of Belvedere is also particularly striking, with its Aragonese castle, the Pollino Park, and the beaches of Diamante, Cirella and Maratea with its statue of Christ the Redeemer overlooking the sea.

I personally am responsible for i cook for the guests, i am responsible for communication, i take care of the crops.+
It was a desire to to live in nature which led me to run an agriturismo.
