The agriturismo
Directly accessible from the provincial road, in the hills but a short distance from the centre of Fontegreca, the agriturismo is surrounded by an oak wood and about 1000 olive trees, which produce a high-quality organic extra virgin olive oil.
The heart of the accommodation is an old restored farmhouse, which offers a relaxing stay in a healthy environment, brightened by farmyard animals and ponies.

Meals are prepared according to country recipes, rooted in 17th century culinary traditions typical of the Alto Casertano area, and are accompanied by local wines.
Guests can also use a modern swimming pool with a large sun terrace with deckchairs, sun loungers and umbrellas, a children’s play area and a fitness trail, created within the surrounding oak wood, along which there are tables, benches and a gazebo.
Activities and surrounding
About one kilometre from the agriturismo, heading back up the Sava river, we find an old water mill, the Cave and the Sanctuary of the Madonna dei Cipressi, close to a magnificent botanical environment consisting of the only naturally-reproducing cypress grove in Europe.
The surroundings are ideal for cycling or walking excursions. The Gallo Matese and Letino lakes are within easy reach, as are the medieval village of Prata Sannita and the towns of Ciorlano and Capriati al Volturno, with its multi-purpose sports centre.
Sports enthusiasts can try their hand at sport fishing along the banks of rivers or go paragliding and hang-gliding from nearby Mount S. Crocella.
